To cover your ears and sing is one thing when a politician exaggerates or says something controversial but still relatively benign. It is something quite different when the comment is so crazy, so far-reaching, and so malicious that it should set off an alarm in the head of any rational American.

Such is a remark Obama made during the campaign and which was recorded by Joseph Farah of World Net Daily as well as Beck. Here is what Obama said:

We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.[Emphasis added]

What in the world could Obama mean? Is he imagining a squadron of racist goons like the New Black Panthers stationed on street corners, armed to the teeth? If so, how is that different from any other police state in the history of the world?

God help us all if Farah, Beck, and I are the only people scared to death by those words. As Farah notes,“there have been initiatives like this elsewhere—Cuba, the Soviet Union, China, Venezuela, North Korea. But has anything like this ever been proposed in a free country?”

It’s a great question. How is it that Joe Klein, Frank Rich, and other Obama cheerleaders, no matter how self-deluded, are able to read it and then turn in for a good night’s sleep?

Provide the context of when obama said this. give the whole speech if possible.

In this post I'm not going to discuss Barack Obama's prior wrongdoings. Instead, I intend to focus only on Romney's current, larcenous, distasteful animadversions. As I elaborate on that concept throughout this post I will use only simple words and language so that even a child can understand my message. Yes, even a child should know that Romney has been killing the messenger and controlling the message. If there were any semblance of decency left in his imperium that ought to be an affront to it. Sadly, that's a big "if"; we all know that Romney keeps saying that free speech is wonderful as long as you're not bashing him and the logorrheic social outcasts in his Praetorian Guard. For some reason, Romney's trucklers actually believe this nonsense.

Even though Romney insists that skin color means more than skill, and gender is more impressive than genius, I unequivocally feel that anyone with eyes and a brain can tell that his attempts to curry favor with sick-minded bigamists using a barrage of flattery, especially recognition of their "value", their "importance", their "educational mission", and other beer-guzzling nonsense, are much worse than mere racism. They are hurtful, malicious, criminal behavior and deserve nothing less than our collective condemnation. I, speaking as someone who is not a conniving scumbag, don't want to build castles in the air. I don't want to plan things that I can't yet implement. But I do want to pursue virtue and knowledge because doing so clearly demonstrates how his gofers mimic his behavior to the last jot and tittle. But the problems with his notions don't end there. Let me end this post by challenging my readers to maintain social tranquillity. Are you with me, or with the forces of Oblomovism and oppression?
