From my understanding they can "censure" him for his failures to represent
the GOP's positions but have no ability to remove him from office.
For what it is worth I've noticed a change in McCain's behavior going back
2 years ago and I have wondered about his mental health/acuity as he has
tried to lead as a Republican. He just hasn't seemed "right" and seems
to be lost as a person with solid core beliefs. Actually it is a bit creepy.
Sadly I agree, he seems spaced on minor items and totally lost on most major ones. I honestly believe that old age has hit him a wee bit early. He has become more of a flip flop than pie in the sky John Kerry.

I've had the feeling he has been "mailing it in", leaving it to his staffers
and advisors to make decisions for him. Whether it is just age or a
gradual loss of focus, he's seemingly disoriented and appears to have
fallen into a "let's just get along" mentality. That's not bipartisanship.
That's intellectual laziness and lack of courage.

I did contact his office a long time ago looking for some help on obtaining some military records and was given a exmarine embassy guard to help me, one of his aids. Honestly he was as dumb as the "Idiot", all he was interested in was how many names he could drop in a two minute phone call. I gave up after the first phone call, it was just worthless.

Well I watched Denver pull it out, although you have to give Rivers his due, he was coming close, time just ran out. I'll have to watch the SF game on tape even though I know they won.

Seems like here, there is more hype than substance. No real action, a couple of drive by's late last night, no one hit, they seem to target buildings. I guess they're easier to hit. We'll see what today brings.

Earlier today I read a report of released information that both
Obama and Hilllary were aware within minutes that the attack
at Benghazi was a terrorist attack and that it had nothing to do
with any videos or such. That report appeared on Drudge from
confirmed sources for a few hours before being "lost" to
readers.

The released documents, all documented, show that they knew
from the outset what was actually taking place. Otherwise
Hillary was in the news in favorable fashion while CNN and
the other MSM channels spent about 25% of their time focusing
on the Chris Christie "scandals." Other news of the day: Hillary
is going to Iowa .... all fluff. No mention of the released documents
(quoted material from participants) in the gushing praise of
Hillary.

The MSM is treating this petty retribution by Christie as if it is
anything but typical of high-rolling politicians. Obama does it
every day, including his "pen and phone" crap about executive
action if he doesn't get his way.

Fast and Furious, IRS, NSA, Benghazi, Obamacare, etc.......
Hillary, why did you lie about Benghazi? How is it the
released previously information about your duplicity escapes
the review of the MSM while a governor from NJ fries for
his indiscretions on a local political "scandal?"

Not a Christie fan, but the lack of MSM coverage or balance
is disgusting. Obama and Clinton knew within 15 minutes of
the first attack that it was terrorism.

I too am not a big Christie fan, but your correct CNN the second mouthpiece of the DNC, the first being NBC, couldn't get it right if their lives depended on it. I have damn near stopped turning them on and when I do it's to see the weather.
Both networks are so far left that the only thing that could change all of the DNC crap would be to fire everyone that works there.

There is no doubt in my military mind that the buffalo assed, bucktooth bimbo knew what was going down along with Bozo. Gates needs to come clean on that crap.
Had a small bomb go off here and a couple of dudes were shot, but not on my side of town last night, for an area that houses 13 million, that's not bad. I did venture out, to go to the gym and it was just like every other day, no hang-ups, no delays going and coming back home. Subway did have a half a dozen more folks in the morning. Like I said, more hype than anything else. So far!

The US had been running guns and dope through Benghazi for several years. The CIA simply shut down their operations in that town and moved on, what we see is the effects of that move.
Similar to Jonestown, Guyana - except this is a State department (CIA station chief) casualty as opposed to a sitting US congressman.

Before this happened Daffy had collected the 5th largest gold reserve on Earth, with Putins help, and was unifying Africa and its natural resources without the US dollar hegemony. Consider the uranium trade, controlled worldwide by Russia and the mining of rare earth minerals.

I am no fan of the Hildabeast, yet can we really hold her accountable for the acts of our CIA ? Is she really responsible for what the CIA does with her State department ?

We allow the US government to run a clandestine world empire and complain when it gets out of control and the elites unleash the jackals....Is this because we dont want empire or do we actually expect an inept federal apparatus to suddenly become efficient at running the world through criminal and terrorist organizations when it cant even run the small city of DC with all that power ?

Kind of ironic at best that we give Reagan a pass for what he did in Nicaragua, running cocaine to L.A. to sell weapons to Iran via Israel, and hold the Hildabeast responsible for Benghazi.

Meanwhile, the dope that runs from Afghanistan via N.Africa continues into the streets of our college campuses at record low prices and high concentrations. 90% heroine selling for 30 bucks a gram, on the front.

I fell bad for the CIA station chief who was regarded as expendable in Benghazi, even worse for the American public with the same status.

Localboy, I think it is unfair to use the term "we allow the US government ...." The American
people didn't "allow" it. This was just one of probably countless clandestine operations
run by the State Department independent even of the knowledge of Congress. The State
Department is a government unto itself, regarding elected officials and even the POTUS
as temporary inconveniences. They simply believe themselves as above public
scrutiny and operate as a government unto themselves, accounting to no one.

The disclosed document I read yesterday makes it clear that within 15 minutes of the
Benghazi attack the WH and Hillary were aware of it and identified it as an act of
terrorism, not a demonstration that went out of control. Nonetheless the WH decided
to blame it on a video rather than admit the real cause. Yeah, I hold Obama and
Hillary responsible for the intentional lies to the American people.

Lies to the people......these two lie as a profession.

Terrorism - Is it really terrorism when criminals kill the CIA station chief for double crossing them. No, it was just a crime, a big crime but simple crime none the less. On 9-11 innocent people were destroyed to make a show, to terrorize us. In Benghazi it was simple retribution, a difference.

If we are a government by the people, for the people, under the simple language of our Constitution then who else is responsible for the acts of our government ? How can we expect to govern ourselves if we wont take responsibility ? We know our federal government lies, especially about wars, we know they have terrible corruption problems. We know they are capable of acting against our best interest as well as commit horrific crimes. We know and we still keep supporting them.......just wave a flag and declare an enemy and the American people turn into zombies.

I accept my part, I failed to hold my governments feet to the fire. Never forget - never forgive.

I see no difference between Reagan and Obama, between John Foster Dulles and the Hildabeast. All know liers, all traitors to the cause of Constitutional restraint. In my world a person lies and cheats like these people do and they suffer their fate, without mercy. Its called being accountable and my belief is the leadership is as much as accountable as I, if not more so.

This whole media account of benghazi and the Senate hearings is a joke, a farce. It has nothing to do with truth and its all about politicising a crime. A total distraction.

Well LB, the new and I'm sure improved, 80 page account on Benghazi is out and the ever vigilant MSM will pour over it with a fine toothed comb. The problem, as I see it in American politics is that no one in government is ever accountable unless the media jumps in 100%. With the current administration that will never happen because 95% of those in the media are alined withtheir liberal socialist thinking cause, that includes the heads all the way down to the office boy!
I can understand the CIA doing and going places that the American public have no knowledge of. Most of the time there is no need for them to ever know. Most of what they have done and do, is of no intrest to the general American public, their too busy worrying about who will win on the Voice or American Idol, two shows devised for brain dead air heads. The only time problems arise at the CIA is when they fuck up and get caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Otherwise it's just another day at the office.
The real problem is the State Dept. Lurch is only after one thing and thats a nobel and will sell out America to get one from the liberal socialist nobel commitee. Once a traitor always a traitor.

Just read some Air Force general go on about how every one in the Air Force is accountable - evidently some have "cheated" on a test of some sort and others are taking narcotics.....? Doubt this is the first case but he went on and on about integrity. Blah, blah

Sure, our CIA has, and I am sure will continue, to do work that needs to be behind closed doors that is aligned with their stated mission. I have no doubt of the need and at times the people doing tough work. This is not the problem, its the things that are in direct conflict with the interest of the American people they do, its the lies they tell and misinformation given about the internal affairs of the United States.

The problem is the blowback, its the unintended consequences that are misunderstood. Its the wrong reaction to a problem due to ignorance. Working with Mexican dope dealers, allowing them to run their product into my streets - Is this what we need ? Is it really in our best interest to fly remote controlled bombs into villages destroying wedding parties.....creating more enemies to fight in the next generation ?

State is like all federal departments - oversized ten fold

Come on, Easy - sadly this is not the first CIA team abducted and murdered while the politicos lie about the event for their own political gains. Meanwhile, the entire Libya fiasco is ignored, the failures in Iraq. the whole thing is theater to distract us from the drugs and guns crossing our borders. We supported in Libya and now Syria what we fought in Iraq and Afghanistan along with the newly created haters from Yemen, Pakistan and now N.Africa.

Now, if these two known liars would go on with the lie about Benghazi, what else would they lie about ?

I'm up to my neck in packing boxes, moving in 10 days and have accumulated more crap than any two people should. One thing though any time an Air Force General goes on record about anything you can bet the farm that it is nothing but P.C. crap or something to cover his worthless ass. Not one killer General in the whole damn Air Force.

As you pointed out, Daffy had pretty good control of his billygoats - Sadly we are into a new type, actually real old, of warfare. Currency war

Something to watch - German gold, Iranian pipe lines and Russian mining.
