Obama’s coming: Close the beach!
By Olivier Knox, Yahoo! News | The Ticket
President Barack Obama flies to Connecticut on Monday for a star-studded fundraiser at movie mogul Harvey Weinstein's sprawling beachfront estate in Westport. The event means about $2 million for Obama's campaign—and traffic disruptions and beach closings, plus a surge in overtime pay for the town of some 26,000 people.

They extensively considered the Kerchner case. They considered the entire record from the trial court and the Third Circuit. They considered all the briefs at both levels, all the oral arguments, all the exhibits, the opinions of the trial judge and the three judge panel.
Under the Court's internal rules the issues raised REQUIRED (no discretion) the Court to hear oral argument IF the three judge panel had erred on the constitutional issue.
Instead they UPHELD (without any need for a written opinion because there was NO MERIT in the petitioner's case) the Third Circuit as completely correct its determination that Barack HUSSEIN Obama was a natural-born American citizen. RES JUDICATA.

Ya know, it is pretty bad when the Londoners complain about the weather. A really ducky year, quack, quack.

Is the dull weather spoiling the Olympic Games?

Maybe not 'spoiling' it but I wish the sun would shine just a bit. The Greenwich equestrian event had a spectacular setting but it would've looked so much better in the sunshine. Same goes for the Olympic Park. Everywhere looks grey, cold and damp
Kapellmeister

Well tomorrow and Friday are supposed to be dry so that's a help I guess.
I wouldn't say it's spoiling them though.
Fizix

No, I think spoiling was a bit strong but you know what I mean. Everything always looks better in the sunshine, and it is the summer games. It doesn't have to be wall-to-wall sunshine. Just some sunny intervals to bring out the colours! I guess I'm just sick of British weather tarnishing stuff, like the Jubilee celebrations and now the Olympics.
Kapellmeister

No. Endless sunshine would spoil it as it wouldn't feel like London. The random weather is every bit a part of British culture as any music, landmark or piece of history
Meepers

Nothing wrong with a bit of sun and a nice cool breeze but temperatures like last Wednesday would be bad , would sap the energy of athletes and make spectators uncomftorable
TOONARMY12

It would be good for the athletics if it gets a bit warmer. Low temperatures and rain reduces the chances of world records.
Ads

I do know what you mean a bit OP, I think it is simply that The Olympics are usually held in warmer climes so we associate it with something exotic/foreign that is usually nice & sunny.
jzee

TBF considering all the rain we had in June and early July the weather hasn't really been that bad this last week.

The issue, "Mr. Lived Off of Taxpayer-funded Largesse" your whole life, is whether Christian scripture contains the words that "Ms. too to go to college" attributes to Jesus of Nazareth in the Lord's Prayer. The simple and indisputable fact is that she LIED by making up words that are not in Christian scripture. It is no different than in her posts where she lies daily.

He was not National Merit, a Westinghouse Science winner, National Honor Society, King of the Prom Court, an All-State athlete, a champion on the debate team, or the Editor of the taxpayer-funded public high school’s newspaper or yearbook. rube was a dreg – at the bottom of his very average class at a very average taxpayer-funded public high school.
7. In these rebellious adolescent years when many of his contemporaries were preparing themselves to enter the State University, the local juco (most of the class) or, in a few cases, selective private colleges, rube was crystallizing his deep, clinically obsessive antipathy toward authority: police officers, teachers, school administrators, judges, elected public officials, and, eventually, the highly-educated and courageous men and women patriots who are the senior officers in the United States military because of their rigorous education and training at this great country’s storied Service Academies at West Point, Annapolis, Colorado Springs, and even Kings Point and New London.
8. Having no future in college (not even an option) or the private business sector because of his abysmally low public high school class rank and SAT scores, rube took the easy way out.
9. For the next twenty-plus years he lived on the taxpayer-funded welfare rolls as a military grunt receiving a taxpayer-funded government handout for his compensation, his housing, his uniforms, his medical care, and his equipment. During these twenty-plus years he accomplished nothing of importance.
10. Finally, he bailed out of the military, so that he could receive a generous taxpayer-funded pension and taxpayer-funded VA medical and other taxpayer-funded welfare benefits.
11. Without any genuine skills he was reduced to employment as truck driver using the taxpayer-funded highways while he collected his taxpayer-funded military pension and taxpayer-funded VA medical and other taxpayer-funded welfare benefits.
12. Having reached that certain age rube began to draw on the taxpayer-funded social security system to supplement his taxpayer-funded military pension and taxpayer-funded VA medical and other taxpayer-funded welfare benefits.
IF THERE IS ONE THING THE POSTERS ON THIS SITE ADMIRE ABOUT RUBE, IT IS HIS FIRM AND UNWAVERING OPPOSITION TO THOSE WHO SUCK ON THE TEAT OF THE TAXPAYER-FUNDED GOVERNMENT WELFARE ROLLS RECEIVING TAXPAYER-FUNDED HAND OUTS FOR DOING NOTHING.

Mississippi church apologizes for refusing to host black wedding By Emily Le Coz | Reuters
TUPELO, Mississippi (Reuters)- A predominantly white church in Mississippi that sparked outrage for refusing to marry a black couple in its chapel has issued an apology, but the newlyweds said on Monday that church leaders had not personally told them they were sorry.
In a statement read at its service and posted online on Sunday, First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs said it never should have asked Te'Andrea Henderson Wilson and Charles Wilson to relocate their July 21 ceremony.
The couple had been told their wedding plans made some congregants uncomfortable at the church in southern Mississippi, a state with a long history of racial divisions.
"As a church, we express our apology to Te'Andrea and Charles Wilson for the hurt that was brought to them in the hours preceding their wedding and beyond," the statement read.
"We are seeking forgiveness and reconciliation with our Lord Jesus Christ, Te'Andrea and Charles, family and friends of the Hendersons and Wilsons, our church family, and our community for the actions and attitudes that have recently occurred."
The church said it strives to be open to all people, and its members will continue to pray about the matter.
The church's decision to move the nuptials stirred racial tensions and drew condemnation from across the globe, as well as reaction from government and religious leaders. Mississippi Republican Governor Phil Bryant called it "unfortunate," as did recently elected Southern Baptist Convention President Fred Luter, who is black.
Contacted on Monday by Reuters, Charles Wilson said he was not satisfied with the apology because it was not delivered directly to him or his wife. It also failed to explain why the church denied them a wedding ceremony based solely on their race, he said.
"As far as this apology, we haven't heard anything," Wilson said. "It was stated that they read the apology to the congregation. We were not in their services, so they did not apologize to us ... They have not sent us a letter. They have not tried to contact us."
Wilson said the couple no longer attends the church. They have been invited to join several others in the area and are in the process of visiting them.
First Baptist Pastor Stan Weatherford asked them to relocate their nuptials because some congregants felt uncomfortable with a black couple marrying in their church. Weatherford still performed the ceremony, but it was held at a nearby United Methodist church.
Wilson said he was shocked when Weatherford suggested they move the wedding. "The biggest question I have is,'Why? Why?'" Wilson said. "This is 2012."
Weatherford did not immediately return messages requesting an interview on Monday.
On Monday, the editor of the Mississippi Baptist Convention's weekly newsletter, William Perkins, said he was proud of the church for accepting responsibility and issuing what he called an "eloquent" apology. He said it was time for the state to move forward.
"Of course, Mississippi for many decades had struggled with racial issues," Perkins said. "Sometimes it seems like we take two steps forward and one step back. So, we'll move on from this point."

NOT SO. EVERYONE gets a job at $160,000 plus plus. This applies to at least 15-20 law schools. Check out the data in USNWR.
Law schools are no different than colleges. Why would anyone be so stupid as not to go to one of the elite Eastern schools (plus Chicago and Stanford)?
Why not? Because they are stupid "birthers" not even smart enough to gain admission to their local juco. Ha Ha Ha Ha -- so who has more common sense? The Linux grunt - the truck driver or the elite Eastern college grad who had a blast for four years?

Egipat Children's Home - Sarajevo

Bosnia Relief has been providing aid to the Egipat orphanage in Sarajevo since 1995. At that time, the building had been ravaged by shelling and subsequent fires. First established by Josip Stadler, Archbishop of Sarajevo, it was entrusted to the Sisters of the Handmaidens of Baby Jesus who sheltered and educated thousands of children of all nationalities. In 1948, the "Communist" regime expelled the sisters and took over the property. Not until Christmas of 1995 - after the Dayton Peace Accord - did the authorities again give permission for the orphanage to be rebuilt and reopened. Since then we have provided dental & school supplies, handmade quilts and funds for milk. At the present time, the orphanage cares for more than 60 children from infants to age 18 of all ethnic backgrounds.

Well, I don't go around calling people true or untrue Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc.
But I am sure there are a few atheists who are bad people or just miss-guided.
I don't recall you being upset when the lesbian Buddhist demanded communion during a Catholic funeral and was refused. Most of you Libtards blamed the priest.
Where I think the First Baptist Church errored is they allowed them to attend services and took their offerings and then denied them a sacrament! If a church wants to be all white, all black, open only to gays and lesbians or whatever, it is their business. Not that I would want to go to a church that did not treat people equally.

Evidence for the REAL Third Secret:

Communist agents have infiltrated the Catholic hierarchy to destroy from within

"Bishops, cardinals in Rome, a plan is set afoot against you. Many have entered from the socialist—the Union of Socialist Republic, Russia, have entered the Church to destroy you!" - Our Lady of the Roses, November 20, 1978
