But Reagan was not a warmonger. When he got embarrassed he did not up the ante. He did however have neocons in his cabinet and underlings and the vice president. Arnold was not conservative. Just more so then the brats that run Tinseltown. And Heston made some socially conscious movies for the time. You progressives never learn by grouping everyone in a general sense. it don't work anymore. And if this nation does not change, there will be a hardline leader elected at some point. so who do think pays when the uninsured show up in emergency rooms in public hospitals? 22% of the federal budget is already spent for healthcare and the costs are only going up... Tell us what is the solution offered by Murdock's global media empire?

Whatever is in place, it's obvious that we have very little control over it. So one gets to choose the one or party that closely aligns with their core beliefs. Regan allowed something terrible to happen to this country and Republicans are loathed to speak of it and that's the aiding and abetting of contras who sold weapons and drugs in the urban areas which have decimated inner cities. No responsibility, blame the victims and move on. I will never ever forget that and how can anyone when viewing the devastation for power and money and the total ignorance of the American people, especially the Republicans. Even when Oliver North testified, you could hear a rat piss on cotton as to anyone ever being charged for this crime and the devastation that continues until this day. Not to mention the homeless who are mostly vets that were put out of facilities due to the cuts made by your beloved Regan. People who were mentally ill with no place to go and no medical treatment. These people who are a danger to themselves and others and who served their country during war times.

I remember Republicans and how things are when you're in office and my memories aren't as fond as your memories are. Bush's years weren't so great either. So perhaps you guys need to change something to appeal more to the majority of Americans but I doubt if you're able to do so.
