Saturday Night Live Bares Extreme Liberalism For All

Wow - really - Just WOW

I can't believe the BLATANT leftist liberal slant that SNL showed in the writing of the opening act for the show aired September 13, 2008.

It featured a look a like Sarah Palin (Tina Fey) and poorly made up Hillary Clinton, making an announcement regarding sexism and all sorts of other stuff in the race for the White House.

They used every kind of tongue in cheek slap at Sarah Palin that has circulated on the web laid out there by liberal blogs.

The only people laughing out there were the liberals. They were able to get a real zinger against conservative Palin and the McCain Campaign.

Democrats are like the 45 year old guy that thinks that wrestling on cable TV
is real. You will never get them to see it for what it is. The majority of them have been told who to vote for since they were in their 20s, by their unions.
Teachers, UAW, Teamsters. I feel sorry for them. Its like signing up you child for school lunches, you send Johnny off and you don''t have to worry about him making a decision for himself. Not all people in this world can make decisions, Obama voted "Present" 130 times. Not for, or against, but "present". Sounds like he is still on the school lunch program.

oh please, enough with this silly, idiotic outrage! Politicians are fair game for satire. Bravo to SNL for taking down the high & mighty one or two notches, especially someone like Ms. Palin.

Boy - talk about someone who is in freakin denial.

Yes - Republican Presidents are in power when huge deficits are brought forth, but it is the Democratically controlled Congress that passes the budgets that wreak those budgets on America.

As to Hating America - both Parties of late have been showing that through their Socialist agendas; not securing our borders, giving trade control to international organizations that do not have our interest at heart, raising taxes on our corporations to levels that make it hard to operate in this country and turn a profit, taxing their citizens to the point of not being able to save or invest in their communities to stimulate economic growth, etc etc.

Neither party shows any love for the Constitution, the founding document that made this Country what it is - a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.

Get a clue man, and wake up to some truth.

I see - as long as it is the opposing party - it's fair game.

I imagine you would be this open to it and feel the same if they did a skit ridiculing Obama?

America is not a democracy and/or a republic BUT a MEDIAOCRACY where the RICH control society thru the control of information. Saturday Night Live does what their rich-puppet makers want.

Ironically, Sarah Palin is doing her job expertly by taking punches from the democratic left-wing.
That is firepower that is not leveled at John McCain.

One REASON that Bill Clinton beat George Bush Sr. in 1992 was the Perot vs. Bush battle. Clinton sat back and looked presidential as the other two fought each other.

Now the fighting is between Obama and Palin with McCain above the fray. Obama made a TREMENDOUS BLUNDER by commenting that his presidential campaign has a higher budget and required more decision making then that of the mayor of Wassilla. He should have left criticism of the Republican VP candidate to others.

Wow, really just Wow. I can't believe the blatant conservatism of Fox News. After all, SNL is a comedy show and satiric. Fox News purports to be "fair and balanced."

I'm a small business owner and I USED to vote for Republicans, but for the last four years, I have voted a straight Democratic ticket. I want to throw the BUMS out.

Chip, Hate to tell you this but there aren't enough union members left to make much difference in national elections.

Again, you didn't respond to us having to BOW before McCain and Palin as they should be untouchable, right?

I am glad that YOU at least know that our deficit spending is horrendous under Republicans. In addition, the national debt DOUBLED under BUST. He's had a Democratic Congress for only two years. For SIX YEARS, the Republican led Congress passed budgets that fed him funds that BUST has successfully used to bankrupt America. It's pathetic.

In addition, regardless of what budget is passed, the PRESIDENT has the responsibility to EXECUTE the spending. That's why it's called the EXECUTIVE branch of government. Republican Presidents have executed poorly and Americans have paid for it.

On the other hand, Democratic Presidents have executed in a manner that has DECREASED the debt as a percentage of GDP. So now when YOU say that BOTH parties are responsible, you are simply WRONG.

By the way, Senator Obama has proposed tax cuts for businesses that CREATE JOBS in AMERICA. McCain's scheme is to reward companies that take jobs AWAY.

I have a clue. Where's yours?

Waaaaaah!

The other kids made fun of me!

Get out of politics if you want to be off limits. Even the kings of Europe had jesters - they were sometimes the only ones who could say what was really true.

Hey, it was a SNL skit when McCain't picked Pagin to be America's #2. It's been the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

Haven't watched in a while but if you google "Saturday Night Live, Obama, Clinton" you'll come up with a long list of sketches that do just that to both of them. And I do remember back in the Clinton era they did a skit ridiculing him damn near every week. I think they're equal opportunity when it comes to politics.
