Why are some Dems running from the Affordable Care Act?

Apr 19, 2014 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: TheBostonChannel.com

Polls have shown that voters love popular provisions calling for mandatory coverage for maternity care and extending coverage for young people up to age 26 to stay on their parents' health insurance policies.

“The Republican position on this law is still stuck in the same place that it has always been. They still can't bring themselves to admit that the Affordable Care Act is working," Obama said Thursday. "They said nobody would sign up; they were wrong about that," he continued. "They said it would be unaffordable for the country; they were wrong about that."

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG on all accounts… the tea-baggers predicted and prognosticated OBAMACARE and Obama’s demise time and time again; and every time they were WRONG! the 2012 Election had them reeling and swooning as they once again came out with the sh*tty end of the stick, LOL… We the People have a big surprise for they in November.

The problem is that this is a transfer of wealth massive tax increase for middle class people. The shitty end of the stick is still the same stick. The only answer for working men and women who do not qualify for subsidies if their premiums have gone up, is to play the game and reduce their incomes so they can be covered by medical insurance at affordable rates. It is clear the middle class is slowly being disassembled and have been for many years. Preparation for a continental union then a hemisphere union and finally world government with benign and helpful leaders is our future. At least they will say they are benign.

Lets see, here in georgia we had 150,000 sign up through our new Obamacare federal insurance exchange. Here in Georgia 400,000 cancellation letters went out to people who had insurance before Obamacare and the policies were being canceled because of Obamacare. Either because the policies were considered not "good" (covered only what the insured wanted it to cover) or were too good (cadilliac policies) and the companies providing the insurance could not afford the obamacare tax.

People are pissed about this sort of federal control over part of their lives they were handling just fine.

How many of that 8,000.000 were people who already had insurance which was canceled by Obamacare, according to the associated press at least 4.7 million insurance plans in the individual market have been canceled due to new Obamacare rules. That does not include any employer plans that were also canceled because they were too good (obamacare cadilliac tax ruined them) or did not meet obamacare rules, even the grandfathered plans are destined for extinction.

Obamacare’s effects will not be felt only in the individual market. The Administration’s own regulations assumed that up to 69 percent of small business plans—covering as many as 41 million Americans—could be lost, because they do not comply with Obamacare’s requirements.

For instance, Obamacare sets maximum deductibles for small business insurance plans at $2,000 for a single person. However, nearly one-third of covered workers at small firms are in plans that do not meet this requirement—meaning these individuals could face higher costs, or the loss of their current plan, or both.

When it comes to both individual and small business insurance policies, losing one’s policy will often come with a big price tag. A Heritage Foundation analysis concluded that Obamacare’s benefit mandates will raise individual insurance premiums in 42 out of 47 states, in many cases causing rates to double.

Just as eliminating pre-Obamacare health plans was one major result of the law, so too are the higher premiums many will face upon losing their plan. It’s why the American people need relief from this unworkable, unfair, and unpopular law.

Face it, right wing morons. The Affordable Care Act is here to stay. It will never be repealed. It may someday evolve into a single payer plan, which will make it even better, and cause you crackpots to have more violent paroxysms of paranoia.
