I didn't say he was. I said he was the right wing candidate. You don't read too well, do you? Were your parents brother and sister?
Romney was the candidate the press picked in the primary. That was so they could tear him down in the general. Same as McCain.

Your condescending attitude is why people think you are a braying jackass. A clue for you: you are not superior.

Well, there are 3 right wingers who work in my office, and they all were voting for Mitt, and were encouraging everyone else to do so. 2 of the guys who live on my street are very right wing, and they both had Romeny/Ryan stickers on their cars. I had talked with all 5 of these people, and they all watch Fox News, and listen to Glenn Beck, and they all talk endlessly about Obama's phony birth certificate, and how he's a communist, and how he's destroying America, etc.
I also notice the right wing media,i.e. Rush, Fox News, etc. were all encouraing people to vote for Mitt as well. So, yeah, I would have to say Mitt was the right wing choice. Did you not vote at all? Or did you write in someone else's name, or what?
Mitt was the Republican candidate, nothing more. Let’s look at this. What is the more logical choice? The guy that has run up the national debt more than any previous president or the guy that promised the make it easier for business to succeed?

Not many were all that thrilled with Romney. He and DumBama both lost some voters since the last election. However, the idea that we could get that Socialist thrown out of office is what encouraged people on the right that did vote for Romney. Anybody but DumBama, and that includes Mickey Mouse.
Debt still growing, higher taxes for most all of us, deficit not shrinking, and the job situation still at the bottom of the ravine. He is absolutely good for nothing. And now we have much higher energy bills to look forward to as well with his shutting down coal fired power plants and imposing multi-million dollar improvements on the ones that remained open.
America can't afford DumBama. There isn't enoigh money in the country.
I didn't vote for Romeny, I voted against DumBama.
Then essentially, you agree with what I said to begin with, that Romney was the right wing candidate.

I was a little baffled when you said, "Not many were all that thrilled with Romney. He and DumBama both lost some voters since the last election.". Romeny was not the GOP candidate in the last election. Obama defeated John McCain is 2008.

Yes, when the right winger claim that Obama is out to destroy America, that's not a scare tactic. And claiming that his birth certificate is forged, that's not a lie, right?

The bottom line is that each side had plenty of time, opportunity, and resources to present their case. The American voters decided in favor of Obama, and against Romney, based upon information that both sides presented, and based upon seeing and hearing the candidates for themselves. If your side lost, there is no sense in blaming the voters. I think the election proved that the Obama haters out of step with the American people, and were therefore rejected. It's as simple as that.

Your ignorance and stupidity is simply spectacular! The debt is still growing? Duh!
The debt clock in NYC was installed in 1989 hardly Obama’s doing. It was in fact Ronald Reagan who legitimized the amassing of national debt, when Reagan left office in 1988 the National Debt was 2.6 Trillion. In just eight years Ronald Reagan had more than doubled what all the previous presidents from Washington through Carter had accumulated in the prior 200 years.

And in JUST OVER THREE YEARS, Obama surpassed the debt of Washington through Clinton. And after this cycle, he will surpass Washington through Bush. Your point???

Because Reagan increased debt it’s acceptable for Obama to increase the debt by more than ONE TRILLION ANNUALLY?

Do you approve of the debt in California? Is that how you live your personal life?

No, it's not a scare tactic. It's based on performance of the man.
The birth certificate, the jury is still out on that. It should have been investigated and ruled on before the 2008 election. There's more too! Did he register as a foreign student in college? Why does he have a Connecticut Social Security Number?

I agree and disagree with your second paragraph. I agree Romney dropped the ball by not putting more commercials on during prime time.
I disagree that it was somehow equal in time, opportunity, and resources. The reason is the biased mainstream media.

You seem like a reasonable enough person. Obama has not, and will not, destroy America. I have more faith in this country than that. No one person has any such power. Even if Obama, or any other individual, tried to "destroy America", that person would be dooomed to fail miserably.

As to the birth certificate nonsense, you should give up on thet. You have been sold a bill of goods by the right wing nut media. Obama was born in Hawaii. Period. Haven't you noticed how the birthers keep moving the goal posts? First, they said Obama has no birth certificate. When that was shot down, they complained that it wasn't the birth certificate they wanted. They wanted the "long form". "Just show us the long form, and we will be satisfied." So Obama rolls his eyes, and produces the long form birth certificate. And guess what? That's not good enough either. Obama being born in Kenya is just a silly conspiracy theory, and not worthy of discussion by serious people.

Did he register as a foreign student? The answer is no. At least, there is no valid evidence that he did.

Why does he have a Connecticut social security number? I don't know if he does. But if he does, so what? Last I heard, Connecticut is part of the U.S.

As far as the mainstream media being biased, maybe they do favor Obama, but so what? The mainstream media is more that matched by right wing media. Rush Limbaugh constantly boasts that he is "the most listened to radio host in America." Fox News makes similar boasts all the time. In short, you literally can't turn around without hearing an anti-Obama rant. The bottom line is this: the right wing presented their arguments, long and loudly, and the American people heard them loud and clear. The problem is not that the American people didn't hear the anti-Obama message; the problem is that they heard it, and rejected it.
