It began when they picked Sarah Palin. That was the first sign that the RNC was throwing the election. They knew the economy was going down hill and they wanted President Obama to own it. Any measure the President took to stimulate the economy, the GOP opposed it. They even stated that their only goal was to make PResident Obama a one term president. At this point, by picking Romney as their candidate, it seems to me they don't want to win this election, either.

We are coming close to a 40% obesity rate. Kids are having heart attacks and juvenile diabetes is rising at alarming levels.

If you think health insurance and hospital visits are expensive now, just wait until you have to fork out the taxes to pay for the hospital bills of the 48 million impoverished Americans who have no health insurance and no money.

You think Obamacare is a bad idea, just wait until 1/2 the country looks like whales. It won't be long now, especially since republicans refuse to overhaul school lunches that are comprised of chocolate milk and pizza...for breakfast and lunch. The only concern I have is that we got the Bush tax cuts to improve the economy and they didn't work. We keep extending them and they aren't working. We had two unpaid wars and tax cuts. We want to cut more taxes and cut spending, but have no concern about paying for the wars. We will keep shrinking government and STILL have our war debt. We bailed out the banks and thereby devalued ALL our assets as individual Americans. Our savings are worth less, our homes are worth less. Our only option is to "invest" (gamble) in the unregulated market that caused all our problems. We are told to invest in oil, war, and multinational corporations, the very things we are already indebted to, even though we bailed them out, again and again. It doesn't look like Americans have much choice. What are we supposed to do if we want to be responsible and save for a retirement or raining day, if we happen to not be billionaires who took the loot and changed the rules? What hope does the Middle Class have and which party cares? It's no wonder we're so distracted by social issues. We are hopeless. The system is rigged against the majority and the minority likes it that way. To the victor go the spoils. We're left with a prayer, nothing more.

Lay off the beer, and cigarettes you buy with their food money, and they won't be so fat. What you cannot depend on is the American people working to give you all the amenities people have when they work, for free.
