Ya know what..just forget providing any links. I looked at 4 or 5 that dealt with the book and there was no mention of McCain in the reviews. The cast in the movie didn't show anyone portraying McCain. As for his "official" military record, so what? They are always glorified....just like Jessica Lynch being made out to be a true hero. She grew up about 20 miles from where I am and she says the story about her was made up. Obviously, at that point Prez Goober, Darth Chaney and Donnie Rumsfield needed a hero to keep the people interested in the war. When doing my search, I ran across this little gem too:
