McCain pushed land swap that benefits backer

35,000 acres of Ariz. grassland traded for property ready for development

I have twenty-seven years experience in commercial real estate. This type of land exchange is very common between private developers and federal, state, county and municipal governments.

Of course the "devil is in the details" and how the publice percieves the Issue and the McCain response.

I suspect this is nada.

The Republican *** s l e a z e *** just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

I agree with Charlene about this Republican congressman Vito Fossella who was recently arrested for drunk driving and yesterday admitted to having a child out of wedlock!

Here is ANOTHER member of the party that preaches to us about their "family values" and then they get caught having sex (and children) out of wedlock, driving drunk, having sex in bathrooms, groping underage congressional pages, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.

Just do an online search for "Republican scandals" and you'll get a flood of raw sewage!

Or, check out either of these PARTIAL listings of Repugnican pervs:

WHO CARES! If there wasn't anything wrong with any of the candidates, we would find that wrong. No politician has ever done something that isn't self serving, and most have done something that is against what Americans would like to see. If what he did is illegal, charge him. If not, drop it. If America wants to do better, stop voting for politicians and lawyers, and vote for one of the working people who know what life is really like. Take away their political pensions, their political insurance, and make them get their benefits through a real job, like the rest of us, and then they might start to fix things.

There are plenty of shady things about McCain and they will all be discussed soon....as soon as Hillary decides she really is toast and campaigning for the general election begins. Up 'til this point, the focus has been almost totally on Obama's faults/failings/weaknesses (real or perceived). The Clinton's and the right-wing media has managed that!

There's plenty that will come out on McCain. Almost everyone likes some things that he has done, but once they find out all of the facts they won't like him as much as they think they do now. He flip flops from one side of the fence to the other, mostly trying to help pals out or get revenge on someone who crossed him. His main motivation is his ego.

McCain is either easily bought because his campaign hasn't been getting enough fat money donations, or he's easily fooled because economics isn't his strongest area.

Either way, he has exposed weaknesses.

Yep!

I'm know the general area and the land deal is about 50-50% split with even mayors having different opinions. This gives room for Flagstaff to grow.

Az. land is 87% gov't owned and much of it is hodged-podged and checker boarded .
So the devil is in the details. As to the Verde River , McCain's wife's property is on it. So I don't see him deliberately screwing up the Verde Valley.

Why did they have to wait so long to tell us about this? If he did something wrong ... ARREST HIM. If he did nothing wrong ... leave it be. This is just yellow journalism.

To Clinton’s supporters, there’s nothing wrong with the elections process she’s just happens to lose. If you vote for McCain because of that, then you’re joking with your country future. In this hard time of America economic, McCain will still continue fighting unnecessary war in Irag, continue wasting young Americans women and men lives in Irag, continue wasting billions of dollar in Irag, and people are facing hard time economic back home. You must not complain because he never promised you to stop the war, after all, he said he knew less about economic. I bet he will even attack Iran. Well this is not my own business, I’m not American and I don’t live in America. I just want peace in the whole world.
I knew CNN would not post this comment as usually.

What a bunch of idiots!
As a white older male, with an education who follows politics closely, it is simply a fact that for the last 46 years, that without a 90% African American vote for the Democrats, not a single Democratic president would have been elected!
It is absolutely outrageous that anyone would accuse African Americans of being racist for overwhelmingly votig for a candidate (50% white) who is so emunently qualified, that they can actually relate to!
Look in the mirror if you twits want to see a racist…the reflection will be white!
