OK. Tell me what I should read so that I'm not brainwashed with slanted views and manipulated news reports, and so that I can have command of impartial views.

Amazing how grown adults can talk out of both sides of their mouth and pretend they make sense.

Attack Hillary, mentioning Bill's sexual affairs, debauchery in the Oval Office and disgrace of his Presidency, and Hillaryites quickly tell you "Bill isn't running for President" out of one side of their mouth.

Then out of the other side of their mouth they hautily condemn Barack Obama for comments he wasn't there to hear his Preacher make and whose Preacher isn't running for President either.

Just amazing, totally and directly self-contradictory, yet they wonder why her candidacy is being rejected.

The only place I have seen that accusation is from the imaginations of his detractors.

Just watched Hannity & Colmes - they were unfair and unbalanced as usual.
They had on an anti-Obama "democrat" pollster and an anti-Obama Black guy; the both took turns, alternating with Shawn Hannity as all three stridently slammed Barack over Preacher Wright, as Holmes meekly interjected a weak ineffective comment occasionally. Two guests, plus Hannity ganging up on Colmes to smear Obama.... "fair and balanced".

Then they went on to show McCain's first political advertisement of this campaign - on McCain's military qualifications - the Navy still had battleships back in McCain's era.
This was also "fair and balanced", with Colmes and Hannity both praising and defending McCain...
It's no wonder some people think as they do about Obama, with Hannity & Company spending almost full time slamming Obama, spewing every half-truth and spinning every hypothetical (what if they prove obama heard a bad sermon?) they can think up.
Hannity viewers - it's like expecting a person in Russia who reads Pravda every morning to have command of impartial political views.
Anyone listening to Hannity is going to be brainwashed with his slanted views and manipulated news reports.
Fox News has become an organ of the Republican Party, with Hannity stridently, almost hysterically spewing Republican National Committee talking points, with paid straight man Colmes offering tepid ineffective counterpoints.
It's a disgusting display and far removed from any resemblance to news. As Obama's popularity increases, so does Hannity's obvious efforts to destroy him. When is Fox News going to wake up to the situation?
They were not UNFAIR - they told the truth and some can not handle it - every one wants to push his racist remarks and American hate under the carpet - well there are some of us that are smart enough to hear exactly what he says and what he does and we are smart enough to look up his voting record and his issues - which he HAS NONE. HE VOTES PRESENT BECAUSE HE CAN NOT TAKE A STAND FOR ANYTHING AND IF YOU LIVED IN ILLINOIS YOU WOULD BE SINGING FROM THE SAME SHEET OF MUSIC THAT I AM. HE SHOULD BE OUSTED FROM HIS SENATORS SEAT. IF THAT HAD BEEN MCCAIN OR HILLARY JACKSON AND SHARPTONGUE WOULD HAD HIM REMOVED JUST LIKE IMUS. DOUBLE STANDARD AGAIN AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE - IT HAS TO DO WITH ISSUES.

Yes we can fool drooling, mouth-breathing sub-morons by giving them little campaign
buttons that say "Change" and "Hope"?
You realize that Obama is really only talking about "changing" his underwear, and is "hoping" that there aren't any brown streaks in his jockey shorts.

The Hillary people had no problem recognizing a situation where they felt Obama should quit his Church because of sermons he was not in attendance to hear, but these same Hillary-Hacks are seemimgly unable to recognize a situation where Hillary has been mathematically eliminated from the Nomination and should quit her campaign.

Someone needs to perform last rites and call an undertaker, Hillary's starting to stink.

I'm sure McCain is going to be the next president.
And I'm sure that he will be elected for a second term.

Result:

In 8 years, the US will turn into a frightened country, with a lot of poor people, who lost their jobs, their houses and money to pay for food and medical care.
Rich people will build large wall around the eastern states and throw all poor people out.
In the poor sector there will be aggression and people will become predators, fighting for a little food and shelter. No one will ever feel safe again.

Because many the US have lent, the Japanese and Chinese will claim their money and will start an invasion and take over the US. The US will be partial be Japanese and partial Chinese possession.

No other country will help the US. Europe will not help because the US under McCain will not cooperate with them, just like Bush never wanted to talk with them. The middle-east is praying for the destruction of the US because of their aggression towards them and Asia just wants their money (10 trillion) back.

McCain is going to be the last president of the US.

Solution:
Vote Obama who can unite the US, can reduce the stress between the US and the middle-east and is willing to talk with European countries about solutions for internal problems and external difficulties.
He will be respected by every party. he is you only hope.

Possible?
NO. Most american people will vote McCain over Obama.

Suggestion:
Get as much food, guns, ammo and other military equipment, because you're in for a lot of trouble.

Good luck.

I like your solution: elect McCain and stock up on food, guns, and ammo.

Is it OK if we ALSO ask the Netherlands for foreign aid?

Aug 1,2007,

In a strikingly bold speech about terrorism Wednesday, Democratic presidential candidate Illinois Sen. Barack Obama called not only for a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, but a redeployment of troops into Afghanistan and even Pakistan — with or without the permission of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.

"I understand that President Musharraf has his own challenges," Obama said, "but let me make this clear. There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again.

It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al Qaeda leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will."

Aug 2, 2007

The Illinois senator said he would take military action as president, if necessary, despite the risk of undercutting Pakistan's leader, President Pervez Musharraf, an important American ally.

I understand that President Musharraf has his own challenges," Obama said. "But let me make this clear. There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again.... If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf will not act, we will."

When I am president, we will wage the war that has to be won," he told an audience at the Woodrow Wilson Center in the District. He added, "The first step must be to get off the wrong battlefield in Iraq and take the fight to the terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan."

Obama made those comments during a speech in downtown DC. The threats are a sharp shift for a man who's run an anti-war campaign.
"When I am President, we will wage the war that has to be won," said Obama.

If you think Iraq and Afghanistan are tough, read up on Pakistan's Tribal Areas. Then add to that the instability of Musharraf's regime. Obama just left himself wide open for attack from the Left, the Right and world leaders and diplomats who never think it's a good idea when a would be American President makes noise about invading another land. Musharraf himself is liable to come out with a, "this is not helpful" statement.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP)-- Pakistan has criticized U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama for saying that, if elected, he might order unilateral military strikes against terrorists hiding in this Islamic country.

Aug 3, 2007

The Pakistani Foreign Office has issued a stern warning that any uninvited US military action would violate international law and be deeply resented.

This is what happens when the media falls in love with a rank amateur, elevating him to a position in American politics well before his time.

1.We don't have the military capacity to do this
2.Pakistan is an Ally
3.Pakistan has nuclear weapons.
