Sarah Palin to resign as Governor

After reporting that she will not run for election again, Sarah Palin has stated that she will resign as Governor of Alaska within 30 days.

I'm sure her new efforts will be in the direction of population control within the walls of her double-wide.

I like the part where she said in leaving she didnt want to be a lame duck politician who just traveled around ,spending money and ignored their responsibilities ....!! HELL"S BELL"S....THATS exactly what she has done for the last year!

I bet Alaskans are relieved...maybe now theyll have a governor who will actually stay in the state and try and fix some of the massive problems Alaska has.

Palin is now free to do gun shows and fight with Dave Letterman all she wants.

Politician don't resigns from office just like that. It would be understandable if she said she was not going to run for reelection, but dropping out in the middle of her term as governor?
She’s going to run for the senate (2010) then for the presidency (2012) so she’ll need time to prepare seeking support and contributions.
