RJF Dupage wrote: <quoted text> Politically we almost think alike. I favor the death penalty. But I think you're leaning that way again. We have one or two other small differences. We both support the Libertarian party but my main concern would be would it be too easy for corporations to form monopolies? Yes we for sure have a problem with monoplies. I do feel if true market competition was permited in our country, that would help keep monoplies much more under control and balanced. Reality is that it will take years to get the government influence out of the priviat sector. So I for sure would like to see some commen sence way of getting some of these monoplies under control. So I dont realy have more of concern with the Libertarain party permitting more monoplies. I just think it is very actions of the current leaders in power that fosters monoplies. Bail outs and anti-buisness policies and regs. And the fact that big buisness has the power to lobby our leaders in order to gain advantages over smaller less powerful buisnesses.

If it passes, then it goes to the House and they already have their own version. There's no telling what it will look like by the time they're all done with it. From what I've read and heard the senate version has the public option and illegal immigrants will be able to get coverage... Hi there Sweetie!! Well they passed this BS!! I guess we will have to see how stupid the house is. I hope they do try and put the public option in there bill. That would give some leaders a reason to vote against it.

Exactly. The only soldier that was armed was the killer. The police had to come in to defend the rest of the soldiers. Is that simply stated well enough for you to absorb now? Jorge wrote: <quoted text> Policemen are not soldiers.

It is a clear and simple solution. Limit government and we begin to limit corporate corruption. Monopolies are against the law. They are trying to confuse us. This finger pointing at the corporations is a distraction from the truth of what is really transpiring. The government is fabricating a crusade against corporate America and capitalism as they embed themselves into some of the corporations and undermine the others. It is not so much a conspiracy as it is an agenda. Deb wrote: <quoted text>Yes we for sure have a problem with monoplies. Who were the two armed soldiers? I gave you a link, now you give me one. Or at least provide a few more specifics. I am willing to stand corrected if you can back this up with something. Jorge wrote: <quoted text> There were two armed American soldiers.

If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you. the hosts don't determine who listens to their show, no one is going to argue that some kkk members might listen, but they certainly don't target them as listeners, and i would bet that the hosts would publicly say that they're embarassed by groups like the kkk. How is pointing out things like, this healthcare bill will mean nothing but chaos and confusion, and will bankrupt the country, racist in any way??

This is what happened in two statewide referendums last week that got buried under all of the attention paid to the governors' races in Virginia and New Jersey. In Maine, voters rejected a tax-limitation measure by a walloping 60 percent to 40 percent. In Washington state, a similar measure went down, 57-43. They lost in part because opponents of the so-called Taxpayer Bill of Rights measures (known as TABOR) did something that happens too rarely in the national debate: They made a case for what government does, why it's important, and why cutbacks in public services can be harmful to both individual citizens and the common good.".... http://www.tnr.com/article/politics/make-the-... Maine also passed a referendum allowing retail sales of marijuana...that right there should speak to their judgement
