We're gonna need those bankruptcy filings once the economy crashes. Bush's tax credit ain't gonna do a thing! We're about to go bust, oh, yes we are. Watch welfare applicants triple.
We need some real economic change. Not this printing money out of thin air, devaluing the dollar crap. If we keep goin' the peso will be worth more than the USD. They won't need to deport any illegal aliens, we'll all head south so we can sustain our livin'.

And god help us all if he gets in office! Here is a man who does not wear the American Flag on his lapel, Who would not put his hand over his hart when honor was given to the American Flag, what kind of message does that send you? Has Vowed to also support Africa, well if he is so worried about them go live there, we have good old poverty here in the good old USA worrie about that first!

Obama's church is a Afrocentric” church that bestows awards on Louis Farrakhan and practically defines itself through race-baiting. I have to wonder why isn’t Barack Obama’s faith-based problem making national headlines and the nightly news? Because nobody wants to be subjected to racism? Heck .. his darn church is clearly racist towards whites. Farrakhan is an outspoken racist against whites!
Screw Obama. He's a fake and a phoney .. he will say anything he thinks will get him elected.

Liberals have to change the subject to Bush, a lame duck President who's not running again, when a conservative coherently points out how pathetic Obama's platform is. Liberals don't believe in personal responsibility, and that's AWFUL.

Reasonable to lazy bums who want the government to bail them out whenever they do something irresponsible.

So, what part of the Clinton, Obama and Edwards campaign speeches differ from their usual rethoric? Myself I find all politicians to be self serving, rich S.O.Bs. who will say anything to get elected. Once they get elected, what do they really change? Mostly their minds.

OK... Let's look at credit cards...
For many years someone who charged upwards of 20% for money was called a loan shark and such illegal activity called usury.
Examples:
NEW YORK, the legal rate of interest is 9%; the general usury limit is 16%.
NEW HAMPSHIRE, the legal rate of interest is 10%.
INDIANA, the legal rate of interest is 10%.
FLORIDA, the legal rate of interest is 12%; the general usury limit is 18%.
Find your state here:
http://www.lectlaw.com/files/ban02.htm
Fine. So, how can you legally be charged 28% for a credit card? Because your state law is irrelevant.
Because the supreme court has ruled that State laws do not cover nation bank transactions.
So it is EXACTLY federal law that is needed to stop the financial rape of credit card holders.
Some history:
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows...
Interview with a Harvard Law Professor who studied bankruptcy:
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows...
The politicians and banks have bent the law (literally) to make billions - and it isn't the fault of Joe six-pack who missed one payment.
How about not getting a credit card if you're not willing to pay the interest, dumbass? This is one issue where I agree with the Ron Paul free market position.

We have the oppertunity of a lifetime to vote for someone who is a fiscal conservative who isnt a bigot. He is us. No more trying to make America a socialist country, no more settling for less and words. We need someone who has plans that work. And Rudy has plans that are proven. No other candidate can say that.
oh wait, they can say it, but it's all words, more of the same. Lets get something done people and elect a man who will work for us without demoralizing us.
No more words, I want proven actions.
Rudy has the plan, now lets show America we are smart enough to know how to get us out of this mess without electing some right wing or left wing who can never work with both sides.
We need Rudy!!! NOW
Rudy is in favor of forcing the taxpayers to fund abortions. How is that fiscally conservative?

no one puts a gun to ANYONE'S head and makes them use credit cards ... it's not the governments responsibility to bail people out because they are stupid.
Finally a voice of reason in here. Liberalism is a mental disorder. Now if only the Republicans would move back to conservatism.

a) Be civil.

b) We're talking about corporations charging rates that ARE ILLEGAL under every state law - and then having those laws gutted by corporate lawyer's justification arguments to the supreme court....

Where are you and Ron Paul on STATES RIGHTS again???

1. We already know that Bush is horrible.
2. Comparison to a guy who's not running? That doesn't make sense.
3. Liberals who love Obama should try JUSTIFYING HIS POSITION instead of saying childish crap like, "Well, b-b-b-but Bush sucks!" as a response.

He's anti-ILLEGAL immigration, not anti-immigration, and he has a good point there, regardless of what the thread is. Unfortunately, Romney rubs me the wrong way on other issues. Every GOP candidate is deeply flawed. Every Democrat candidate is deeply flawed too, but that goes without saying. The GOP needs a guy with the exact same views as Pat Buchanan (but with a better personality and more qualifications) to be the nominee; he'd win in a landslide. The neocon crap has to stop; the neocons/Wall Street Journal free traders - illegal alien lovers are killing the party.

I'm not criticizing his viewpoint because of economic ramifications. I'm criticizing his viewpoint because it's WRONG and, quite frankly, unethical. Letting people WEASEL out of responsibility sends a horrible message. Liberals just don't support personal responsibility, and that's shameful.

First of all, all three made their money from less than affluent beginnings. So are you saying the only person you trust is somebody making minimum wage? Secondly, most changes will only happen if the Congress does something. We don't live in a dictatorship although the Bushies have certainly tried to make the U.S. one. So look to your own Congressperson and see what they have been doing.

You seem to be unable to speak to this topic - thus you undermine your point by acting like a street person babbling about aliens to people on their way to dinner.

Immigration is not the cause of, nor the central issue in, the bankruptcy problems.

Go ye elsewhere.
