I was a Repub before Bush..Then I decided Ron Paul was my choice..The media gave him no airtime. Hell he wasn't even on most states ballots. When people asked Why he wasn't on they were told he dropped out BS He was still a candidate. No inverstigation from the Repubs. SO I decided 8 years of was enough. I'm a middle of the road type..So I research and Clinton was never an option after Nafta I was done with them. Edwards seemed viable ..NO campaign funds from lobbyist. I hate lobbyists The repubs cater to big business lobbys and the Dems the free handouts lobbys. There are no middle class lobbys at all. Only ones for the poor and the rich.
Well Edwards came and went. So now Obama. The fact he also takes no lobby money is the prime reason I will vote for him. I was always told "you suffer fools for favors" He will owe no-one anything if he gets in. Not tabacco not pharmacutical co not oil companies..Not the balck lobby groups not white ones either..A clean slate to begin with. TO write it his way.
Ron Paul would have been a great turn in direction away from the Bush failure.

But there is one big problem -- Republican voters HATED him and laughed at him when Rudy the Drag Queen insulted him in debates.

The problem with Republicans is that they are idiots - failures - Christ-Nut abortion freaks and just plain stupid.

Bush's point is valid given the historical references you didn't mention for obvious reasons.
Let me help you.
Look up what Joe Kennedy said (yes, father of JFK) and how he publiccly stated views shared with Nevel Chamberlain's Appeasement Strategy.
Obama would be wise to keep quiet on certain topics for which he is clueless or even harmful.
His Advisers meeting with Hamas is very telling as to the type of lies he stands for.
Bush's coment is baseless crap. When has obama ever said that he would give in to the demands of terrorist?
He never said he would negotiate. Nixon talked to China our enemy at the time. Regean talked to Russia our enemy at the time. Bush has talked north korea, one of the axis of evil. Rice,Powell and Gates all believe in talking with our ememies, including Iran and Hamas. This is not appeasement.
So "The laughing loco" dont talk about historical references if you dont know what appeasement even means.

Wow - I guess the truth hurts.. and Bush didn't even mention OsamaObama.
I guess the dark little man with bad ideas now thinks that quoting historical precedent is off limits. Just another good reason to support this spineless self appointed spewer of liberal drivel.

Are we selecting a candidate for the US of A or
the US of Israel. Those TV talking heads wail on
about Israel - the jewish voters - won't be voting
for Obama. I clearly undestand their reasoning.
The chaos perpertrated by our Zionist Prez was
exquisitely engineered to suit the ME homeland -
it seves to bury those Palestinians - and to create a greater Israel. Sheep, Wake up!

Obama presidency would help restore the prestige that the US of Israel president lost to us. This exiting Zionist claims 300 million of us for the statelet that we planted sixty years ago. The source of our spiralling demise since. Waterboarding fruit cakes for Zion. Lieberman, McCain's handler, thrilled beyond belief at the Obama smearing that suits the grand plan of our
Masters. How dumb can we be - we'll get what we deserve.

Israel is the nation of terrorists who introduced terrorism to that region with their pre-Israel Irgun and Stern Gangs. The Israelis have elected time and again terrorists from those organizations to lead their country.
The Bush administration gives aid and comfort to the MEK, a noted terrorist organization that murders women and children in Iran, and probably the source of any Iranian-made weapons found in Iraq.

Excellent move Mr. President! Now the whole jewish community is with McCain.

Not so stupid now is he!

I know you meant what you said today. I cried.

I also know when you take on the terrorist, all the blacks and liberals are going to hate you. But know we still love you here in Texas because we know your heart is in the right place.

Leo, Should we hold you accountable for who your Grandfather was supposedly "chummy" with. If Bush's grandfather was so tight with the Nazis, then why did his son George Bush Sr (GW's father) serve in the US military in WWII against Germany????

Exactly. Just the same with McCain. Why should we hold him responsible for his dad who turned his back on 34 US sailors murdered by Israel when they attacked the USS Liberty saying it was a case of mistaken identity and they couldn't tell the ship was a US ship even though it flew a US flag and had 7 foot tall ID markings and was the most sophisticated ship on the face of the planet but Israel thought it was an Egyptian horse carrier that had been out of service for 10 years which is all an obvious lie but McCains dad didn't want to embarrass Israel because Israel wanted to murder everyone on board and blame it on the Egyptians like when Israel dressed up their Jewish spies like Arabs and bombed Western targets in an attempt to get the West to think it was Egyptians but they were caught in what is known as the Lavon affair. That's what Israel does. They wage war through deception which is the Mossad motto. They make it seem their enemies carried out an attack when in fact they did it but it gets the nation they attacked to think it was another nation. I wonder if that's happened recently? A couple of years ago I was at Ha'aretz and it showed Israel celebrating the survivors of the Lavon Affair as heroes in their devilish plan at deception. OK I'm done

The reason The presidents comments piss the left of is because it is what they do. The dems can call people Nazi's but when it's turned on them they cry like a little pu##y. The president was refering to CARTER who is a NAZI.

Think about why we are occupying Iraq. Some of you can't see the big picture. Now you have Obama who will bargain with countries like Iran and expect a trusting relationship. He is an idiot to think this. These leaders or terrorists have been on this war path since the beginning and no one is going to change them. Maybe Obama can offer them Oprah. Vote for security, vote for America, Vote McCain.
not just an idiot but as naive as a primary school kid. "we will leave you alone, please leave us alone." we are talking about countries and people that want to see the destruction of us and israel. they dont want open discussions and peace. his inexperience shines very bright with this latest from him.

do i like mccain? no not really. but compare to obama it is a no-brainer. we need someone with experience and their feet firmly planted on the ground.

You're just jealous. Obama was smart enough to vote against you party's useless vanity war.

McCain promised 4 more years of this stupid waste at $120000 a minute.

The lies won't work this time. Anything the right wing GOP says about anything is instantly discounted as a lie based on the record.

Losers can do nothing but slime and whine.

Pathetic.

Reality check:

Biden said:

“This is bullsh**t. This is malarkey. This is outrageous. Outrageous for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, sit in the Knesset…and make this kind of ridiculous statement,” Biden said angrily in a brief interview just off the Senate floor.

“He’s the guy who’s weakened us. He’s the guy that’s increased the number of terrorists in the world. His policies have produced this vulnerability the United States has. His intelligence community pointed that out not me. The NIE has pointed that out and what are you talking about, is he going to fire Condi Rice? Condi Rice has talked about the need to sit down. So his first two appeasers are Rice and Gates. I hope he comes home and does something.”

He quoted Gates saying Wednesday that we “need to figure out a way to develop some leverage and then sit down and talk with them.”

Gates said:
Gates: U.S. Should Engage Iran With Incentives, Pressure
The United States should construct a combination of incentives and threats to engage Iran, and may have missed earlier opportunities to begin a useful dialogue with Tehran, Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said yesterday.

"We need to figure out a way to develop some leverage ... and then sit down and talk with them," Gates said. "If there is going to be a discussion, then they need something, too. We can't go to a discussion and be completely the demander, with them not feeling that they need anything from us."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/...

Obama said:

"It is sad that President Bush would use a speech to the Knesset on the 6Oth anniversary of Israel's independence to launch a false political attack. It is time to turn the page on eight years of policies that have strengthened Iran and failed to secure America or our ally Israel. Instead of tough talk and no action, we need to do what Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan did and use all elements of American power -- including tough, principled, and direct diplomacy -- to pressure countries like Iran and Syria. George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists, and the President's extraordinary politicization of foreign policy and the politics of fear do nothing to secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel."

And then there are clueless idiots like you who swallow the lies.

President Bush bungled the country into a disastrous war that has damaged America, failed to find Osama bin Laden, funded it all but driving us further into debt to China and various Gulf sheikdoms. And McCain supports it all 100%.
