Easy Ed wrote: People - people, Here we have Mr. Obama wanting to talk to, Abdumbajhad of Iran, whose views are very clear. He advocates the destruction of Israel and the demise of the West. No ands, if or buts about it. Reminds me of Chamberlain after meeting with another terrorists, Hitler, than while waving a piece of paper declare "Peace in our time". We all saw what happened then. Mr. Obama has not a clue. He is willing to talk to someone, Abdumgajhad, who wants only attention. After listening to Mr. Bush's speech it would seem Mr. Obama is a tad bit defensive. Did he not say he would meet with Abdumbajhad? Peace Yes and Obama's adviser was just caught meeting with Hamas. He resigned once the story broke. Obama said he wouldn't talk to Hamas. What happened? Sounds like a bad pattern forming around Obama. He's not the Uniter, he's now the "Appeaser" and Liar.

i am reminded of a song, something about .."you are so vain you think this speech is about you." Another movie comes to mind, "His head is like an orange on a toothpick.... look at the size of that large planetiod"

Doesn't that make them appeasers too?

you are wrong, bush REFUSED to talk with saddam during the run up to the war. Miyamoto Musashi wrote: I'm American. Bush tried to talk to Saddam Hussein for fourteen months; anything Bush has done has never satisfied some people. You guys were out to get him long before that. Fact remains: Obama's defensiveness is starting to show and that is not good leadership. = <quoted text>

Does this lunatic really think his opinion actually counts..And it's pretty disgraceful he pulled this crap on foreign soil. God forbid we open up lines of communication with countries he deemed an axis of evil..We tried it his way it didn't work out too well. Time to get a fresh perspective on foreign affairs. We could actually use it.

"In order to win against your enemy you must know your enemy inside and out." Sun Tsu- The Art of War. A book every military person working his way up ladder has read. OH Ya.. he was never a military man. And he couldn't even pronounce the names of Middle Eastern countries or their Generals Correctly. He couldn't find certain nations on the map. MEanwhile people laughed.. I think it disgusting. How do you win against an enemy you do not know? How do you win when you have no concept of what drives them or thier policies? Oh ya you don't! You get bogged down in a war and keep thrwoing money at it and PRAY it will be ok. Great military stratergy!

President Bush in his speech to the Knesset was rebuking Jimmy Carter for his meeting with Hamas. This was a good time and appropriate location to criticize the meddling old fool Carter. The Obama reaction raises a question of his presidential qualifications. Thin skinned are we? Paranoid?

Yeah, I think that declaring war, invading a sovereign nation under false pretense and getting over 4000 of our young men and women killed while completely destabilizing the Mideast is much better than diplomacy, don't you? people aren't supposed to know that. Too many a*sholes in here it won't make a lick of difference to though. They are like terrorists talking the kids into suicide bombings while they sit and watch from a safe distance.

The laughing liberal wrote: <quoted text> Bush's point is valid given the historical references you didn't mention for obvious reasons. Let me help you. Look up what Joe Kennedy said (yes, father of JFK) and how he publiccly stated views shared with Nevel Chamberlain's Appeasement Strategy. Obama would be wise to keep quiet on certain topics for which he is clueless or even harmful. His Advisers meeting with Hamas is very telling as to the type of lies he stands for. You're an idiot. Joe Kennedy was no elected official - he was just an ambassador to England. It was the Republicans who wanted to avoid conflict with Hitler.

Miyamoto Musashi wrote: Obama seems overly sensitive here and so does this rag interpretation. Nowhere, not once did President Bush make any reference whatsoever to Obama. This type of defensiveness shows how Obama would react when radical Islamic forces in Iran continue to fund and arm terrorists internationally, while asserting the same condemnation of America and Western Democracy Obama performs. The reality that the Democrat Party is chock full of moonbats for appeasement is simply coincidence. The truth of what Bush says stands. What stands is we have a President that most Americans are ashamed of...

I was a Repub before Bush..Then I decided Ron Paul was my choice..The media gave him no airtime. Hell he wasn't even on most states ballots. When people asked Why he wasn't on they were told he dropped out BS He was still a candidate. No inverstigation from the Repubs. SO I decided 8 years of was enough. I'm a middle of the road type..So I research and Clinton was never an option after Nafta I was done with them. Edwards seemed viable ..NO campaign funds from lobbyist. I hate lobbyists The repubs cater to big business lobbys and the Dems the free handouts lobbys. There are no middle class lobbys at all. Only ones for the poor and the rich. Well Edwards came and went. So now Obama. The fact he also takes no lobby money is the prime reason I will vote for him. I was always told "you suffer fools for favors" He will owe no-one anything if he gets in. Not tabacco not pharmacutical co not oil companies..Not the balck lobby groups not white ones either..A clean slate to begin with. TO write it his way.
