The Congress and the President took an oath to uphold the laws of our Constitution and to protect our country from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. If our existing laws were respected and enforced, I doubt there would be a need for "immigration reform" legislation. Respect and enforcement of our laws are critical to a functional democracy. Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the US, and illegals commit that when they falsify documents to get hired. Where are the 10,000 National Guard troops that were to support border enforcement? Where is the fence that was to be built? Why aren't employers who hire illegals being charged? Who will ensure any new laws are respected and enforced when the old ones haven't been? What are the unintended consequences of illegal immigration?

Once you reward criminal behavior, It's very hard to stop.
This plan has a lot of holes in it.
My wife Immigrated here legally 15 years ago, became a citizen 5 years ago. This program rewards 13 million people who decided they didn't need to come here legally and gives them a slap on the wrist and disrespects everyone who came in the front door and waited their turn.
This will never become Law.

In the article Miguel Garcia states, "They shouldn't punish people who are just trying to get ahead,"
By this logic we should also stop prosecuting and grant amnesty to all of those who rob banks, liquor stores, homes, etc. After all they are just trying to get ahead.

I've driven a tractor for $1/hour, a combine on a harvest crew for $1.75/hour, dug ditches at a natural gas plant for $3.25/hour and worked on a horse farm for $15/day. Then I served my country and went to college and got an education so I could have a better job and pay my taxes, so the government can support and defend the Constitution and enforce our laws.. All the documents I presented for hiring were legal and authentic.

Anytime you see Ted Kennedy and Bush agreeing =, you know the American people are going to get thrown under the bus. Hopefully, this will not become law. Go back to your country and come back legally, that can be the only answer.

Yes. Mexico should not be fearful and Americans should not be fearful especially when The U.S has U.S border agents themselves committing 'human trafficking offenses' and who make their own rules? You have a 'broken system' Indeed. I have been trying to come to this Nation's Defense. Seems it does me no more good to do so, for Americans and to Freedoms.
But, The U.S government and their little 'secret operatives' seem to be causing more and more difficulties and problems on foreign policies and relations?
Call and Tell your representives they have ignored the truth long enough! They have laughed and mocked your Vote long enough. Make Demands without using violence, for peace and to END the Lies That We Latino Immigrants are Terrorist! That all these Individuals deserve to be taxed and taxed and taxed...Not! The Buck Stops With Your Call to representatives that seems to have all the answers for You!

Not anymore!! With Mexico being run by criminals and drug dealers, killing civilians, tourists, police and soldiers, who in their right mind would want to go there.
