PlacitassRoy, unless you are Geithner or another one of the tax cheats among Obama's cabinet/czars, the fact remains that the language does state that you can be imprisoned for not buying health insurance. Yet another case where you are stretching the hell out of the truth by denying that one could face prison by buying health insurance.

How about some ideas that will actually help the country for a change? Looks like Mike Hays, the intellectually stunted and irrelevant fool, has a new pen name.

HR 3962 is just a stepping stone to single-payer or Medicare-for-all. How do I know this? So stated Rep Alan Grayson (D-Fla) during the 1st hour of the Ed Schultz show on XM America Left on Friday, Nov 7th. Ed Schultz concured, stating that it will be "easy to modify" the bill once it becomes law.

When we get past all the sophomoric insults, and foul mouthed trolls, it is nice to see that democracy is working again. It is noisy, it is messy, it is ugly but ideas are having to survive the scrutiny of public debate and "Trust us, we're Republicans," just doesn't sell. Nobody's trusting anybody, which is perhaps how it should be.

There is absolutely NO provision in the bill to send anyone to jail. World Nut Daily is flat out lying when it uses the term felony.

The bill refers to many other peices of established legislation. It does not have to directly say anything about punishement if there are laws already in place to define it. So you can use the search feature till your heart is content, but until you read the legislation you will not have the appropriate grasp on in. Also relying on Politifact and FactCheck is not healthy as they are there specifically to spin issues in the Obama Administration's direction. What you have posted, to me and others, would be like someone quoting Fox News to you. So be aware of your sources. So yes the letter points out that people will only be brought up on Felony charges if they willfully do not pay the tax penalties assessed for not having health coverage, which is in the bill and was also one of Barack Obama's campaign promises. So as long as they fork over their money to something they don't beleive in or may not be able to afford they are safe. Just comply like a good little sheep.

Here they come - the harbingers of bad news. Once you have lost your right to patient - Doctor centered care you have lost your rights to freedom. Thanks Nazi Pelousy and all the rest of the Dumb as Crap party for destroying the best health care system in the world to take care of 10 PERCENT of the uninisured - even with this passing 5% of the people in the USA will still not be covered. The amazing thing here is that one of the biggest cost drivers (LITIGATION) HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED - any guesses WHY? Well let me see since the s-c-u-m of the earth - Trial Lawyers - still will be able to reach into the medical jackpot arena for huge amounts nothing will change, Doctors will leave the profession, others will not become Doctors and shortages and government mishandling of healthcare will be worse than the worst government programs because now they will be dealing with your healthcare and your LIFE. On top of that if your not alarmed that the Government already has 30% of the economy under their belt and now they are going to add another 18%- which by the way they have either just maintained or destroyed what gives you any confidence that they can do this right? Your representatives in Congress are voting their own agendas and not what the vast majority of Americans want. VOTE EM ALL OUT AND START OVER! WAY TO GO DUMB AS CRAPS - you have hit a new low!

That is suppose to be non-partisan? Opening phrase: "Nancy Pelosi's socialized medicine bill.." Anything that describes the bill as socialized medicine is nothing but propaganda! Don't need to read another word to know it is a POS propaganda site regardless of their "about us" cr@p. It is nothing but the same cr@p spewed by World Nut daily.

I HOPE the Senate passes it next! I will have a really good laugh at ALL the NAYSAYERS, when this turns out to be better than you all thought. There are going to be many stipulations as to whom the Gov't helps get medical care. There are more rules set in place to keep private insurances from gouging you. You all keep complaining about how much it's costing you per year already...BEFORE OBAMA took office..HMMM, let's see, MAYBE we should take a deep breathe and maybe look at it like it just MIGHT be BETTER than what it HAS BEEN? Why is it Teabaggers and all the other NAYSAYERS think they are always right? It's almost laughable to listen to all the hot air that comes out of them. SO NEGATIVE.If it's BROKE FIX IT!! It's BEEN broke for decades..hasn't it?

Why should we believe that they can RUN a new program? Does health care need fixing? YES!!! Policing corruption, fraud and abuse of the existing systems would be a GREAT start! Tort reform! Force insurance companies to accept pre-existing conditions! Allow insurance companies to offer policies in EVERY state of the union expanding the opportunity to compete! Socialism works GREAT until you run out of other people's money. The government needs to focus on SUSTAINABLE JOBS! Our "Land of Opportunity" is turning into the "Land of Entitlement".

It's about politicians who will not listen to the voice of the people they represent. Their #1 objective right now should be SUSTAINABLE JOBS! We DO need healthcare reform, but until the ECONOMY is back on track, IT'S POINTLESS!!! And the hole gets deeper........ People with a differing veiwpoint are not haters or racists.(Unless, of course, the "haters & racists" happen to oppose liberal values LOL!)
