Iraqi isn’t a really high grade war, this isn’t practically Difficult compared to then. We are and have been doing extremely well. The nature of the problem just requires time because people don’t change over night.

In the end if we do allow victory it will be well worth the relatively minimal cost.

Why haven't we already hung the real villain in the 911 attacks? Iraq had nothing to do with 911, and under Saddam was as anti-terrorist as any other country. Meanwhile Bin Laden continues to release his videos with more regularity than Brittany.
If this was a real war, we would have a military draft. Then we could truly be "paying the price", and not be letting a few kids bear the brunt of this war by being sent there for two or three tours in that hell-hole, while we sit around and bitch about the price of gas and how expensive quarter-pounders with cheese are getting.
This is a pretend war designed by Bush to assure a second term for himself and his band of cutthroats. He didn't have a clue as to what he was getting into despite come good advice from a few people, and now he can't find a way out beyond just waiting to turn it over to his successor.

So, by your logic, the low grade war requires only low grade soldiers, paid for with low grade dollars, who die low grade deaths, or get low grade medical care and benefits, while killing low grade brown people fighting to get us to leave their low grade homeland.
