Was Stanley Burrell recruited by IU? Who was the coach at Xavier that recruited him? Appears another good homegrown kid that left the state.

Way to go loosiers. I guess you arent as high and mighty as you thought you were. I guess making your schedule easy didnt help like you had hoped.

Weak game...weak interior D + weak shooting + weak rebounding + bad calls = 1st IU loss

At least it helps the team evaluate itself before the big ten season. Everyone shot bad tonight except DJ, makes me wonder why we stopped going to him in the 2nd half.

The youth has to learn to play on the road. It will come...no worries.

The Miami loss was not our opening game it was Miami's opening home game. It was our second game.

Burrell was recruited by Thas Madtta. He was not interested in IU. Way to big and indifferent of an academic situation. He wanted a smaller school and X a Jesuit University is a good fit for this student ball player.

Hey Lloyd Ruby,

Maybe you need to look at Purdue's freshman class. All the good ones didn't leave the state.

Anybody think IU was going to go undefeated this year? Xavier played an outstanding game; IU learned several valuable lessons. Among them,
individuals don't win championships; teams do, and talent can be defeated by coaching, mental toughness and disipline.

Xavier should have beaten Ohio State in the tournament last year. A foul in the final seconds of regulation instead of letting Ohio State take the three that tied the game would have done it. IU, at this point in the season, is no where near as good a Ohio State was last year in March.

Let's hear it for a Mid-Major that has a great program. Let them play again in the Big Dance and see if the new faces develop before all of you Purdue fans have your fun. Defense is the key.

"Boiler Up" doesn't represent all Purdue fans.

It's the media that hypes Gordon, not Indiana fans.

This is still a young team by the most part. Xavier at this point of the season is just alot better than IU is. Things will get better for the Hoosiers. This team has no chance to win at SIU unless they hit 15 three pointers. This is the same type of team we have had for years. when the threes go down we win when they do not go down we lose. Xavier only hit 3 three pointers and scored 80 on us. They just took it to the rim on every play, and we wonder why all of our guys were in foul trouble. The second half last night was very hard to watch. good luck IU.

He wanted to go to a school that focused on the student part of student athlete. Can you imagine telling Cellvin that you can't come to practice because you need to attend a help session. Sanctions probably isn't aware the kids go to class.
