He got this because people felt sorry for him and they didn't want to give too many awards to Ohio State.

If Bill O'Brian had been 12-0, I'd say he deserved the award. Urban Meyer pulled off a perfect season with less-than-perfect players while under a bowl ban just like O:Brian, but gets overlooked. Right.
