A post who can run, pass, and block shots, and is 6'5"? Who is not to like? A post who is bright and motivated with an athletic father and competitive brothers? Who is to be denigrated? A post who is focused on improving her considerable skills? Who is not to be encouraged? A personable presence in the paint who would like to play in the WNBA? Who could be better positioned for greatness? Stephanie Dolson is gone. Come to Connecticut and achieve your athletic and academic dreams. Sure, it's a long way from Virginia, but your college coach has a program that WILL put you in the Title IX limelight, and keep your there through graduation, at which point playing in the WNBA and in Europe would appear to be foregone conclusions and being chosen for the US team could get you an Olympic gold medal to add to your NCAA memorabilia. The UCONN assistant coaches can soften any sarcastic remarks, and the community support is unparalleled. You would be the apple of the nutmeg state. Good luck with your decision.
