As far as Wisconsin 's players are concerned, a Pac-12 opponent is automatically dangerous - even if the team in question, Oregon State , is coming off a head-scratching loss, unsettled at quarterback and might be missing its new star running back.

There was nothing surprising about Oregon's loss to LSU for LSU and SEC fans. I know you people hate to hear it, but the SEC IS THE PREMIER conference in college football. Oregon looked slow and small next to LSU.

Yes you should look closer instead of chomping on your own bit to spurt out your SEC arrogance! But besides that, LSU did look really good and are well rounded enough to win no matter who plays QB. BTW good luck in your TOUGH game this weekend against..........Northwest-Of- Somewhere State from the hard hitting Southland Conference. LMAO You SEC boys need to quit scheduling these annual patsies. It will help solidify an all-out campaign of SEC arrogance...

Are you even suggesting that LSU has a weak schedule? Do you know how many ranked teams they will play this year, just by playing a SEC schedule? Do you know that the SEC Championship game IS the National Championship game? Hello?

LSU stepped up this year by playing Oregon. LSU, and the SEC have historically the WEAKEST OOC schedule in the country. I am suggesting the time has come for the BCS Conferences to start scheduling games against ONLY other BSC schools. Instead playing games against weakling MidMajor and Division AA schools who get butchered every year for blood money, all of us (profitable) major institutions can just donate some funds to these lesser schools instead of this phony helping little brother school out while we kick their ass on the field. HELLO!

USC - ONLY BSC SCHOOL TO PLAY ONLY BCS SCHOOLS (LOOK IT UP)

I couldn't agree more. If you want to be the best you need to schedule Pac-12, SEC and other BCS conferences. These non conference scrimages have to end. Go Badgers, On Wisconsin

Despite your ramblings, LSU's strength of schedule is still higher than USCs. The OOC games don't matter when you play a SEC conference schedule. And LSU has 2 "tough" OOC games this year (Oregon and West Virginia). There are SEVEN top 25 teams on LSU's schedule and most are just standard SEC play.

I agree LSU stepped up (THIS YEAR) but the SEC in general plays almost twice the amount of Mid Majors and/or Division AA schools on average then the Pac 10 or Big Ten. The best conference in football ruins some credibility nationwide with your blood money games. And YES the OCC games do matter as they count for overall record and all you Southerners sure use them to brag. Maybe the NCAA should implement a two game pre-season if you boys just feel you cant let loose of the annual beat downs of in-state patsies. That way you still bring in the fans/revenue, can kick the shyt out of them with your starters playing only a quarter, and then we dont have to see an SEC team bragging about being 2-0 when they played Louisiana Lafayette and McNeese State. Rambling done... LOL

You're unreal CT - I'm not even bragging about beating Oregon. No big deal. SEC play is where the REAL opponents start. That's all that matters in the road to the National Championship. I can't wait until a playoff system is in place, so we can watch LSU play Bama in the NC game and quit bringing in some outmatched weak conference opponent to get a football lesson year after year.

I am all for 3 to 4 SuperConferences and a playoff system. BCS should only play BCS. Let the little guys go play with themselves. That IS my point.

The playoffs should be the top rated 8 teams, regardless of conference. That would put 3 or 4 SEC teams in the playoffs each year. The other conferences would never go for that. As it is, the NC game is the SEC Champion against the team picked by the BCS as "the worthy opponent", which has turned out to be a joke.

Non-SEC conference teams don't want a playoff system instead of currenct BCS system because they know that in an 8 team playoff 5 of the teams would be from the SEC. And, of course, just as sure as the sun is going to rise tomorrow morning, the BCS National Champion would ALWAYS be one of the 2-3 teams that are the SEC's best. Have you heard the comments from the past 5 BCS Champions. Comments like that from FLorida DE Derrick Harvey "Ohio State was no problem for us....no resistance....we had our fight to the death with Alabama. Alabama....tough as nails....Ohio State...no problem bro" Or LSU's receiver vs Ohio State "Ohio State.....not nearly as hard-hitting as Florida or Ole Miss." Or maybe Alabama's TE saying "Texas....we didn't really have a problem stopping them. Now Arkansas or LSU that's tough competition." Or Florida FRESHMAN Tebow; played 7 snaps in BCS title game; scored 2 TD's, including one by dragging Ohio State's vaunted Linebacker James Laurinaitis into the endzone "I just put my head down and ran into them as hard as I could" The lesson here: nobody outside the SEC likes the current system; but if there were a playoff it would be more like and SEC playoff. Everybody that is not in the SEC is playing for breadcrumbs. Just like Oregon. Might as well hand the crystal trophy to the SEC Champ.

and since I live only 65 miles from Eugene, Oregon, I LOOOOVE rubbing it in to the Duck fans about the SEC controlling them like a hand puppet. I just say to them "You'll NEVER win a BCS Title because you'll ALWAYS have to go thru the SEC Champion to get it." That pretty much shuts them up. That, and LSU! Way to geaux Tigers. The Tiger doing one-arm pushups was priceless. Now there is no more "noise" and "chatter" here in Oregon about winning the "natty". Both they, and I, know it will be another SEC team hoisting the crystal trophy in Jan 2012

and no, I am not a bandwagon fan......I am a Florida Alumnus and proud of Florida AND the SEC. Either one would take the Ducks out behind the woodshed.

The playoffs would be far more then 8 teams Einstein. What are you new? The NCAA IS a professional organization and $$$$ is king for them just like it is for the NFL. My guess is there would be as many teams in the playoff system as existing bowl games right now
