This game will be a blow out. The young boils will be humiliated on the road against a superior team. The season of hope will be derailed and the boils will be exposed as the fraud they are.

I do feel for the lead paint crew, the weather will not cool them off, the dismal finish for the young boils will.

Obviously a disgruntled IU fan.

Be tough Boilers. Their three point shooting needs to be topnotch tonight.
Good luck Boilers!

I'm a Butler fan but have really enjoyed watching Purdue's young team. Painter is doing a heck of a job. Good luck tonight - you can win at Kohl just like Butler did a few years ago!

If Old Roy had a brain to go along with his IU diploma he would be rooting for PU to knock off the pesky Badgers. We all need to see another loss in the Wisconsin column.

The Boilers are back to playing Purdue Basketball. The way it used to be played. Diving for balls, Mental toughness, mistake free, defense and a little talent helps. Great job Matt. 2008 Big Ten coach of the year!

I see the Boilers have got yet another ringing endorsement from our friend Roy. Keep it coming becasue it makes me laugh as I do enjoy your sophmoric posts. But don't you consider it a shame that you can't give Purdue any credit for the great season they've been having? Even I had a hard time thinking they'd be in first place at this time.

It's a wonder that your local library allows an idiot like you to use the internet. Same with"OLD ROY", I can never figure out why any "Boiler" fans respond to any of his comments. He is a lonely old man craving attention. Pay him no attention, which is what he craves!

I, too, am an IU fan but certainly not jealous. I think Purdue has a very good team, as does IU, ND, and Butler. But, as I have stated many times on these blogs, winning on the road in the Big Ten is harder than any other conference in the nation. My prediction is this.....Wisconsin will win in a very close game (3-7 points). If you (the Boilers) go in their house and beat them, it will be a huge upset. If not, and they remain close, it is a typical day on the road in the B-10. It is certainly not a disgrace to any team losing to the number 8 team in the country on their court.....just as it is not a disgrace for IU to lose to them by 5 a few weeks ago....also in their house.

This will be a hostile crowd, but at least the majority of Wisconsin fans have class. It will be a tough game, but a very fun game. I don't anticipate a blowout on either side, but a hard fought down to the last shot game. Good luck!

Haha..good one! I actually think I might want Purdue to win this one though because if (and that's a big if) they beat Wiscy, MSU will beat PU for sure on Tuesday, so IU will then stand alone at top of the B10!

PU will finally come down to Earth tonight I bet though. In fact, I bet they lose 3 or 4 out of their next five.

Your right about that, it's really difficult to win on the road in the big ten. I will be very pleased if we play them tough down there, win or lose! The amazing thing about this team is that they have played well on the road, and have not been blown out in any of their games!

This should be a tough watch. Both teams like to ugly it up and play great defense and burn the clock on offense. I think it will be a similar game as what PU had at home against Wis. PU needs to keep winning to stay in the rankings and make no bones about it, they deserve to be there. I am really impressed with the group of youngsters especially on the defensive end. I have a friend at work who is a huge Iowa supporter and one thing we have talked about is how no matter how young you are, you can learn to play great defense. The offensive end typically takes a little longer to master, but lock down defense can be taught and learned much quicker.

Kick their tails Boilers. I would much rather my Hoosiers be fighting with your Boilers for the Big Ten title in a month than fighting with Wisconsin. Not that they are any better than you, but its time for the IU/PU rivalry to take on the meanings it used to have in the 90s. Big Ten titles and consistent tournament runs.

Thanks again for not putting the game time in the story. Take a clue from Hutch, put it in every article leading up to the game. I dont need another advertisement. I need to know what time the game starts.

PS.......too bad for the Paint Crew, but seriously. The university's first duty is to protect its students livelihoods. I dont think there are a bunch of crazies in WLF, but it just doesnt make much sense from a security, health and academic standpoint to be camping out in front of a building for a week to get 5 rows closer to the action. Plus your parents paid a good bunch of cash for you to have a roof and a bed and warmth. Use it or you may be so sick you wont even feel like going to the games.

I just hope the officials don't take the game out of the players hands with bad calls as usual for a Big Ten officiating crew. I
hope Purdue doesn't lose big tonight without Martin. Go Boilers!!

Besides Wisconsin beating Texas by 1 pt can someone tell me what other big win a big ten team has outside of this pathetic conference??? Big Ten is a freaking joke and the few touney teams that get selected will get bounced very early. After seeing Purdue struggle with Iowa and seeing how the fans stormed the court 2 weeks ago acting like they had beat Memphis (it was Wisconsin) I see Wisconsin winning by 20. Bet the house on the badgers today.

Old Roy and other IU fans are not bright enough to understand that a home loss by Wisconsin would be a great thing for IU's chances to win the B10. Apparently, they would prefer Wisconsin to win the B10. Anyway, it will be a tough game tonight. We're a good road team so I don't expect a blow out considering our excellent defensive play. Hopefully, we can stay close and nip them at the end. Painter is a great coach and Kramer will play hard. I'm less positive about winning this game that the one in Bloomington. Considering the lousy coaching, that's a game we can win for sure. HAIL PURDUE!!!!

You got to be kidding right ??? Winning on the road in the big ten is harder then any conference in the country you say ??? Yeah, going to play top ranked teams @ Duke and @ North Carolina is alot easier then going to Purdue, Wisconsin or Gopher land ! And yeah its alot easier to win on the road in the big east !!! You are a moron if you really think big ten is toughest to win on the road.
