As much as I like Flowers' defense, he sadly was NOT Big Ten Player of the Year ... that distinction went to Purdue's Chris Kramer. Flowers probably should have been Big Ten Player of the Year... Akognon really had a great game, but if it weren't for him Fullerton would have gotten destroyed.

Starts are too slow on offense. If they can get a nice early lead and then frustrate their opposition with great fundamental defense, they should be able to handle any game. They aren't really a big comeback team, so the first half needs to be played with just as much intensity that they always provide in the second.
