Have you guys seen Stocco throw?
He has the arm strength of a college QB..
he puts all his power into 15 yard out routes...that's very telling.

I do agree w/the get rid of Ingle martin thing though

John stocco should start when favre retires because knowing aaron rodgers he might break something and be out the season AGAIN!?! But rodgers is still a good qb

The Giants cut him today.
The Jets released Zalewski.

I don't like Rodgers... If we can pick up Stocco, I wouldn't mind. But to be honest, I would rather GB look for another franchise QB with a veterans record when Brett leaves, rather than keeping Rodgers. In my opinion, AR doesn't have the wit, arm strength, and ability to scramble out of the pocket when the crap hits the fan on the front line.

True.. Experience will give him those abilities, but why wait?

Shadow..have you ever seen Aaron play? No arm strength? He runs a 4.7 40 yard dash. He had the strongest arm in his draft year and threw 50 yard bombs w/ease at his proday and has had NO PROBLEM throwing in Green Bay's winds.

Ever hear about Aaron's WEAK arm strength from Mike Mccarthy? All he ever raves about is that Aaron can make "ALL THE THROWS". Yeah..that's no arm strength for you.

The wit??? Aaron scored 35 on the wonderlic. Have you ever taken it? I got a 38 on it. Over 30 is college level intelligence.

You know what Brett Favre got?? in the 20s...

Again..your opinion doesn't mean much when you don't have any facts to back you up and just on your "feeling". That's REALLY credible.

Did you ever read the scouting report on Stocco?
They said he has BELOW average arm strength. I saw his rookie minicamp. He had trouble getting zip on his balls past 15 yards. 15 yards!

That's why he's not around.

So you posters who say you LIKE Stocco. I'm glad you like him over Rodgers. Obviously the Green Bay brass though a LITTLE more carefully about it
and kept weak armed Aaron around and let go of strong armed, smarty Stocco.

You guys are unbelieveable sometimes. It's comical.

Cal:

I have seen AR play for the last 2 pre-seasons... I am not impressed. I could care less at what he runs, or his 50 yard bombs.. In his pre-season games, what has he done that was soooo spectacular to deserve such idol respect from you?

It doesn't matter to me what he does in practise, nor does it matter what he has done in 'college'... It matters to me what he has done while playing for the greenbay packers come Sunday (or whatever day they play a game) and on THOSE days he sucks ass...

So step off your high horse about me, because all your statistical bullshit means nothing when you can not back it up with REAL proof.. Proof of the pudding be game day.. You don't have any good statistics for game day in regards to AR do you? hmm...
