Our PG, Al Nolen played 22 minutes and got zero points, including no free throws.

Their PG Cam Taylor scored 26 points in 39 minutes of play.

Badgers were 18 of 19 from the line.

Really a game that asks the question: who are our top Big Ten type players?
yea right

Tough loss but the Big Ten is loaded this season. I don't think they will start 1-4 as the article predicts but any conferene rcord over.500 will be a good season considering the high level of competition. The Big Ten is the best, most competitive basketball conference this year.

The greater question here is, who does the ranking?

Tubby is just overmatched when he goes against Bo. Tubby is overrated and grossly overpaid and in his fourth season has a losing Big Ten record.

"Sweet Lou"..........the Badger win last night broke the three game losing string they had against Tubby and the Gophers. Tell me another team in the Big Ten that can say that. So much for your theory.

The Gophers have won 3 of the last 4 meetings. Not exactly "overmatched". Talk sense.

Is this post from 2007? Think that's the last time Cam Taylor played for the Badgers and I'm pretty sure no one got 26 pts last night.

Gopher basketball will have a better season than wi due to overall depth. barfy badger is one injury away from .500 season. If Luer or taylor get hurt they are gone. Of course those are MN kids and they drive the wi program because the state of wi is just junk for talent. Gophers are better and will have a better/ higher seed in March.
