Champs? You shared the title with a subpar team and you yourself have a subpar record. You don't get a ring for being CO-North Division champs. This is like when WCU went crazy for winning Softball and Soccer championships but didn't go to the NCAA tournament. IF YOU DON"T PLAY IN THE NCAA"S TOURNAMENT then it don't mean crap. Yes the conference is weak, but historically Western would always find a way to be just a little weaker than the field. No matter what happens at the Roundhouse, this is a big stepping stone for them! Unless you're Davidson, your lifeblood in this league is the first round bye; now they have at least a punchers' chance (especially with their depth). These dopes who blather on and on about how mediocre our sports teams are are the same bunch who have to belittle them for accomplishing something.

Congrats on the accomplishment boys. As a WCU alum, it was nice to see the boys win a division championship (even if it is a share) for the first time in 13 years.
