Nice job Cats. It's probably not worth pointing out, but Davidsons' next to last home loss was to Western! We were supposed to get whacked in that one too. Nevertheless, I'm glad we only play them once this year.

Western seems to be putting things together on the basketball court. However, I am very concerned about the way Coach Hunter gets ahead in basketball games and then substitutes wildly. Sometimes he seems more interested in playing a large number of players instead of concentrating on winning the game. When you look at his lineups, you never know which is his starting five.

I agree, but with everybody but Mcgowan back next year, he will have a much clearer picture chemistry-wise. Plus, all these Thursday/Saturday/Monday clusters of games on the schedule probably factor in his thinking as well. Not everyone in the Socon can afford to play eleven guys for long, and fresh legs are never a bad thing.

Good sound comments. A good big man sure would help this team next year. Hope Hunter is pounding the pavement hunting for a big man that can score.

Good comments from you both, but I think that they do have a couple of decent big men. Galliard has his days where he can produce; Galligher needs some improvement though; but Gordon is a pretty good player - when the guards get him the ball. He stays in foul trouble, but because he is a very tough defensive player. The guards always seem to play amongst each other like the big men don't exist. If you notice when the big men are right there at the basket, the guards pass the ball to each other, and not to the big men. You can even see the big men asking - begging even for the ball. Seems to me that there is still some selfishness on the guards and them wanting to get their stats up! Hunter has got a skilled group of young men, now they need to play together as a team!!!
