"Quarterback Geno Smith is the early front runner for the Heisman Trophy, rightfully so having already thrown 21 touchdowns and just one interception."

Yup, I'm real confident in what this John Roe character wrote about WVU's chances of beating Bama. Especially now, when you consider he can't get his facts straight. It's 20 TD's against "0", as in none, as in goose-egg, INT's. Meat-Head!!!

I can damned well guarantee you that he will throw a couple of INT's this weekend against the Longhhorns. You imbeciles are out of your league.

Gino's Pizza boys Heisman chances take a major blow this weekend....major blow

Whew! Little heavy on the sour grapes there, eh? I mean, just because a few fans (I'm not one of them.) don't want WVU to play Marshall anymore, just because WVU stole a victory from Marshall two years ago and is subsequently still undefeated against the Herd, just because WVU is 5-0 & Marshall is 2-3, just because Geno Smith is a great QB & Heisman front-runner where Rakeem Cato is a decent QB and nobody's considering him for the trophy, just because in game 1 this year my team dropped 69 pts on your team's sorry defense...

I could go on; I won't. Because a lot of what you... ahem ...predict could take place. Texas' defense is decent; arguably on par with LSU's. Geno's gonna hafta be patient and not allow the Texas "D" to get into his head. He sure as hell won't have time to change his clothes and throw passes like last week. By the same token, he's seen a similar defense. Maryland's was quick and Senior laden. There's a lot of talent and experience there. So, that will be a help.

The question is will WVU's defense come to play? It's called tackling! It's called jamming a receiver off the line!! It's called tight coverage!!! It's called communication!!!! It's called fundamentals, for crying out loud!!!!!

Offensively, I think WVU can keep up with the Longhorns, in spite of their "D". A shoot-out actually favors WVU. However, if Texas can control the ball, keep the score manageable and keep Geno and company off the field... That's where at least one of your predictions could come true.

Speaking of predictions, if the Herd doesn't find a way to beat 4-1, Tulsa, any chance to join the Big East will fly out the window. Count on it. Enjoy!!!

My friend you are persistent, if nothing else. I think I've already made it clear in my own way, that Texas is not Baylor. As far as being a brides-made and never a bride, when was the last time Marshall won a National Championship. Heck, when did they last go to a BCS game? While you're answering those, when was the last time Marshall beat a team from the SEC or even a team of significance? Talk about always a bride's maid, Marchall's not even in the wedding.

That could change, by the way. Doc Holiday is a great coach and an even better recruiter. It's just a matter of time before he puts all the pieces of the puzzle together. Till then, let's see the Herd take care of Tulsa better than WVU takes care of Texas. Enjoy!!!

Oh, and Go Herd!
LETS GOOO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!!!
