I would just like to say UW picked the right choice for a coach. I went to school with Tia. I was on her track team and she is an excellent athletic. She will be great things to thier program. Congrats

MS. Jackson might be a good choice, however I don't believe she was the first choice of the AD. For this program to hire someone without head coaching expericence shows the he didn't do his homework before letting Daugherty go. His comments of the increase salaries being much more than he expected also shows he is out of touch. Huskies, you had a proven winner, someone who represented the University with class, won alot of games, went to the NCAA or NIT 9 out of 11 years. Maybe Mr. Turner should have spent the time and money on "marketing" the success there was to help create the "buzz". I am sure the new coach will have success with "Daughertys" top 12 class. In an age with a lot wrong with college atheletics it seems Dauherty was consitent and stable. Lastly, has anyone noticed the amazing success the coaching staff accomplished this past year. At a time where the coaching staff future was in doubt, the team finished 4th in the conference and made the NCAA for the second year in a row, they also recruited the a top class as mentioned above. MS. Jackson has her work cut out for her.
