This game should be a forfeit and a win for the other team.

I agree, it's cheating and once it's found out should be punished. Since it's in the paper they all agreed it happened strip that win from them. Bet their teammates won't be so tickled at their cheating then.

NCAA assigns 3 officials to these games. When on blows the whistle, it is the other 2's job to make sure the correct NUMBERed player is on the line..

LMFAO..........How funny! Not so fast Bucko. They have to prove that the twins actually switched. Otherwise, it's just hearsay. I wonder why the parents did not speak up? They probably do this all the time.........Again, LMFAO.
The twins admitted that they switched. how can you interpret that as hearsay?

You are CRAZY ... Nothing about this enough to kick anyone out of school, give me a break. A good player often goes to the free throw line for a poorer shooter when they aren't supposed to be there. It is the referees job to make sure the correct player is on the line, that's why they all have different numbers so they (the refs) can keep the players straight. Refs are paid to officiate the game, they missed this; but it definitely isn't the first time it has happened nor will it be the last. Is it enough to throw the kids out of school? HELL NO!

and that's whats wrong with this country. No honesty. I can't believe that this is common practice. My children have all played sports and I can promise you that if I caught one of them cheating the ref wouldn't need to notice. I would pull their patookie off the court myself. Cheating is cheating and should not be tollerated at any level. Is this what we want for our children? Do whatever it takes to win? Some lesson.

The twins admitted to cheating in a game where those free throws may have been a decisive factor in their win. It's a cute story in one sense, but it's cheating. The 'others cheat' excuse doesn't fly, nor does the 'referee's fault'. The fact of the matter is a player knowingly cheated in a game to give his team an advantage. In the end, nothing will probably come out of this...unless Richmond is a bubble team for the NCAA tournament. OR VMI gets in as a bubble team.

The honorable thing to do would be to forfeit the game.

Wouldn't that be racism?
