Like maybe calling time outs when the other team nails 3 shots in a row ..... Duh!, it was like, nah let Utah State score 16 unanswered points then call a time out.

Well is it any wonder they cant score when most of the team hails from countrys that dont make the sport of basketball a priority!!! Most of the guys on the team are projects. Yeah we got some tall and meaty players but they cant play ball worth a loogy!!! Stop recruiting from canada, Africa, North Korea etc.......... Get some good ol fashion american basketball players that know what the H E Double Hockey Sticks is going on with basketball.
You are an imposter---Hal Mumme (with Mike Leach) is busy coaching the stripe team to a victory in the "Stars & Stripes All Star Game".

At the start of the season this team looked good on paper.....they look good on paper alright....toliet paper. The tough non conference schedule was suppose to make this team tough for WAC (Weak AZZ Conference) play....Boy was everyone wrong....Going to hide behind the team is young excuse..As a season ticket holder I was amazed to watch the NMSU vs USU and see what a full arena looks like. This team and coach are a JOKE.

I looked up the names on the roster and couldn't pronounce half the names on it. Are we getting basketball players or just real tall people with no skills?????????? Cause half the team looks lost.

Seems like all of the problems with the team could be solved if the right coach were in place. Somehow Stew Morril doesn't deal with those issues the way Coach Menzies does.

Just curious. Someone please ask Menzies for what (if any) college did he play BB for?? The three "Black Bears" have to go from NMSU, Sorry if I may sound racists here but I am of "color" also but I am Not afraid to tell the truth as I see it too. DIAA, FCS.
Why even bring it up? "Black bears?" The thing is, you are a racist, despite your claim of being a person of color? Why not say the AD, football coach and basketball coach have to go?

If the teams were winning, would you mention bears of any persuasion? Or would you say, the Black Bears must stay...

Tough road trip. Time to bounce back and reclaim our second place spot from the Idaho schools. The best way to learn in sports is to learn by experience. I think Chili got a lesson on boxing out on EVERY possession. Once we fix the rebounding problem, we'll be set to make a run in Vegas. I have no idea how TG and Hernst missed all those freethrows (it felt like the massachusetts trip all over again). We just need to be a little patient with the development of CK and Chili, after all they are freshmen and will make those freshmen mistakes. Stick with this team. We are still in good shape to win at least 11 WAC games and make a run in Vegas (and beyond)!

OK< I will. Boston, Walker and Menzies have to go. Yes, even if they were "winning" even a 500 season, I would still maintain my convictions. Sorry Looser, did ya ask?? NO of course not ....all words no Action like these "black bears"...

wow. i'm so glad you all have the correct answers to all of this. any of you ever coach, recruit, handle a piss poor budget, deal with bad imposter fans, deal with an arena that the AD doesn't even know what is going on inside it and special events runs the show, can't get more than 2 goals put out for practice in arena cuz special events people are lazy, etc...? have you? I'm sure not. Coach Menzies does what he can do, just as all our coaches do. You have no idea how bad this place is from the inside. That AD is a joke. Any of you ever had him (AD) come visit with you in person about buying season tickets to our teams; mens/women's hoops & other teams? I'm guessing not. Our new Prez needs to blow that crap up in the athletic department and it starts with one office, then goes over to the so called marketing/promotions person who also has zero clue. Lets put Stickney in as AD and see how much better it all gets.
So get off Menzies, start attacking the AD there and go to the home games to support all our teams. Enough is enough.
Oh, and the idiot with the "bears" need to get a clue.

maybe menzies needs to stop being such a jelly fish and demand the players to get rebounds not wonder when they are going to. when you push your team to the limit the end result is always a good result. not always pretty during but everyone will be happy and greatful at the end.

the ad or anyone else is not keeping menzies from doing his thing on the court during the games or the practices i go to all the home games and have even traveled to see them. some times i leave early cuz it is just embarrassing to see menzies coach like he does, grow a pair menzies, stop trying to be the good guy and please everybody. you were hired to coach so coach. don't worry about who is looking from anywhere !

you sound like you have never played or coached, trying to blame the administration, get off the wagon and see the big picture!
