Wow! When I first saw the initial article's headline, "Mascots Get Physical at WAC Basketball Tourney", I thought it was gonna be about a planned skit for the entertainment; however, to my surprise it was an actual confrontation.

The part that lends itself to lots of humor is, "The cowboy then chased the bull to half court, jumped on his back and tried unsuccessfully to pull him to the floor. He then started to try to choke his rival before retreating to his end of the court." SNL (Saturday Night Live) would have a field day with this. We need more cowbell!!! Maybe Pistol Pete would have heard the bull coming. He wasn't taking no bull. The cowboy attempted a bullride, so the cowboy mounted the bull to show him who is boss. Unbelievable! I guess $100 was a good motivator for that sly bull.

Can't believe it isn't on YouTube yet. ;-)

It's always nice when some moron doesn't even bother to read the article and just spouts off nonsense. Gaser, you are an idiot, and I mean that in the most horrible way possible. Aggies are bad sports? At least we know how to read.

This reminds me of the brawl between Pistol Pete (back when he looked cool - big foam head) and the Miner from UTEP (he looked cool back then too)- they were both running around the football field at NMSU, they met at one of the goal posts and started pushing, shoving, then wrestled each other to the ground. Everyone thought it was put on, but it became obvious it was more then that and it was HILARIOUS! Their costumes wouldn't allow for them to actually hurt each other, but it looked great!

Thanks for the laughs. I hadn't thought of "cowbell" in a long time. Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper" by SNL. We couldn't quit laughing. It figures that you'd remember, "We need more cowbell. I gotta have more cowbell." Here you go

This is just too damn funny. I couldn't help but giggle uncontrollably for a short while after reading the article.

Too bad Pistol Pete doesn't have a couple of cap guns! That would have made sooo hilarious.

He could wrestle the bull to the ground, stand up and start cappin the bull.

lmao!

There would of been real trouble, if Blue would of ran up to Pistol Pete, and pulled on it and it was real.
