I remember playing a pickup game of basketball in high school age time. The opponents were in between grade school and/or intermediate school age that just finished practice in a organized BASKETBALL league (jackrabbit, popwarner basketball, I don't know exactly the name of their league.
WE WERE WAY, WAY, TALLER FASTER AND STRONGER. Years different. We got beat by a team of gnomes, squirts, pipsqueakly, menehune looking shrimps so SOUNDLY 30 TO 50 points. WE WERE WAY BIGGER, STRONGER AND FASTER. BUT, THEY BEAT US BAD BLEW US OFF THE COURT. Their transaction game blew us away.
Football attributes are not basketball attributes. Even though a D1 football player can lift more weights doesn't make a better basketball player. We got beat by a team that was physically less than us. We were 50 to 75 pounds heavier and faster.
It was said in a olympic game. A good team will beat a group of superstars.

Beat us by approximately 50 to 60 points, and they didn't cheat! That team beat us fair and square, by that much! They was so much smaller! WOW!!
A good team will beat a group of superstars even though none of us are superstars.
