Great win, pathetic passing. Decent defensive effort, even though Utah State had 490 yards of offense.

Keys to the win in my opinion were:

1. Aggies rushed effectively
2. Aggie kicker and punter did their job better than last year's did by a bunch
3. Aggie return game was huge
4. Utah State penalties
5. The position on the field where the turnovers occurred
6. Aggie defense made stops when it was absolutely necessary

The Aggies need to get their passing game to 50% or better or wins like yesterday's will be history. I don't care which QB they use to get better.

For a first year coach who didn't have the benefit of an entire year of recruiting, DeWayne Walker has done an excellent job. Remember, this is a team that was primarily pieced together at the last minute. The Aggies may not be spectacular, but they are well coached and competitive. To be 3-3 at this point is better than I expected, and although they have an extremely tough schedule their last 5 games, I think this program is headed in the right direction.

My only complaint is about the "fans". Where are they? Last nights fan attendance was embarrassing. Fairweather is an understatement.

Dude, it's noon eastern time SUNDAY! The Sun News doesn't have a direct quote from an Aggie on line yet. No wonder no one cares whether they win or lose...

Huge win for us at home to get back in the mix. The defense is playing alot better, and the special teams units deserve a heck of a lot of credit. If we can keep playing competitively, I think we should rack up a win at LA Tech. Go Aggies!

Aggies will finish with a better record than last year's debacle. Thanks to Coach Walker, we no longer have to put up with Air Raid (Diar Ria spelled backwards).

Looking at the schedule I see 3 L's between now and the end of the month.Beyond that Hawaii without their starting QB could be a possible win but then again it's in Honolulu and San Jose State is a possibility but once again it's at San Jose State, Nevada and Boise State,no way forget it.

A win is a win. Way to go, Aggies! This year's coaching is far superior to last year's. And the players are responding well and improving on playing hard for all four quarters. I think Coach Walker has to keep stressing, strength, confidence, aggressiveness and smart play. What I mean about smart play is no stupid penalties, not getting over confident and few to no turnovers. Go, Aggies

Good job Aggies. No Kyle, that kick does not make up for the the one you missed to beat nevada 2 yrs ago when it kinda mattered.

Kyle did not miss that kick against Nevada 2 years ago. Kyle was academically ineligible that whole year 2 years ago. Last year was Kyle's first action at NMSU.

It was another kicker that missed that kick. I forgot the name but it was one of many kickers that Mumme ran off after a year.

For once I partially agree with Pee J on the Aggie wins coming up. Hawaii was a slight possibility before their QB went down, now the odds are better.(I watched the Hawaii QB on TV the game he was hurt in and he is the real deal. Hope he makes a full recovery and gets back on the field.) Between those two opponents, San Jose is a more likely win. Nevada is a remote possibility since the game is in Cruces. The Aggies beat them last year with a better offense and a worse defense. Boise with BCS possibilities, and I don't care where they play, will not fall asleep against the Aggies. Am thinking a beat down might be coming in that game since quality of win is making a difference in their rankings.
