trevor ariza? are you kidding me? Demar is a lot better athlete than ariza ever was and is right now. I think you forget about how much athletic talent demar has. Also about his outside shooting, he shot 57% from the floor on mainly jumpshots while averaging less than 1 3 pointer per game. Many think his 3 point shot is weak, but the issue with usc was, his role wasn't to shoot the 3 ball and force shots when he didn't need to. His freshman year in college was focused on getting better at defense to better prepare himself for the nba. I've seen demar put up 30-40 points in the nike say no classic (college summer league) against division 1 talent while hitting numerous 3 pointers. Many people forget the other aspects of what someone works on.

Better then Trevor right now? Sounds like alot of other less than knowlegable sc basketball fans. Trevors been in the league a few years now and to compare the two is rediculos. I watched Demar and yes he has talent but needs to work on his strenght and ballhandling.Yeah and Coach Dixon was going to leave Pitt for sc yeah right |

Matt, That really is a boneheaded statement and is strictly conjecture at the present time. Maybe if you are referring to a better college career, which is arguable too, but to say the one-and-done DeRozan is better than the individual that was labled as the new X FACTOR in helping enable his team to win all of basketball's top honor...Please! |
