all of you purdue fans posting comments are forgetting that painter will and has always been a TURNOVER MACHINE. purdue also has a much weaker defense than 8 or 9 teams in the league. purdue wins 7 games this year and will be pouting after the drubbing iu gives them in november.

It isn't just Michigan. If you did an SEC Big Ten challenge in football like they do basketball with the ACC I'd put good money on the SEC coming away with at least a .700 win average. The SEC is deeper in quality and they play better football.

Why when Michigan does poorly does the whole conference suffer. There is a lot of success in the Big Ten with Michigan being the exception. The SEC didn't drop when Tennessee got beaten badly by Cal. Even when Florida also beat them up they were a quality opponent. Don't forget the other 10 teams can also play.

As was Orton his Frosh/Soph years and then matured into an anti-turnover machine his junior and senior year. I exepcted and hoped Painter would do the same. To this point he is following the script perfectly. I can tell you haven't watched any games. Painter is not the same guy he was a yeyar ago. He no longre tries to throw through LBs on 3rd and 9, he goes to the safety valve RB instead and takes the punt like a man and tries to do better the next drive.

I'm glad not all Purdue people whine as much as the people I see on the comment boards. It must be terrible to always have to validate your sports teams to everyone, and still have no one really care.
You know why this is so funny? Because it't true
