One thing that really irked me as a sportswriter, but more importantly a sports fan, was how ESPN naively neglected to mention UCLA volleyball guru Al Scates in its list of the Top Coaches of All-Time. ...

Did you watch the NCAA Tournament? Their analysts picked every team UCLA played to beat them. Ever try to catch a UCLA Football or basketball score on their station? Fat Chance! They'll give you the score to some small podunk school in the midwest --but forget about UCLA. In the 2007 pre-season basketball rankings they gave UCAL 11....Fox says 6th. I think ESPN wouldnt rank UCLA at all if they knew they wouldnt get heat for it. When Jordan Farmar was drafted they tried to say what a bad pick the Lakers made.....until one of the guys there on the show --dont know his name --basicly shut them up.

ALL Bruin fans should boycott ESPN - they have NO LOVE for UCLA and its no suprise that they ignored AL Scates..he certainly is one of the definitive TOPCOACHES OF ALL TIME!

I feel ESPN gave you guys way too much props. You definitely showed up the LSU Tigers, yet forgot to get off the bus against The mighty Gators. Farmar was a stud and I bet he regrets not attending UF. Boycott because nobody will care.
