Commentary: UCLA again left empty-handed

I would love to have seen UCLA win, but it was easy to see that they need to work harder to get to that last level. Another year would benefit all.

Clearly the Bruins were out hustled Saturday. Howland made no changes in the lineup to slow down Memphis. 53 points by their two guards??? No way, not against my team. We don't even give an entire team 53 let alone two guards. It was watching the Florida game. Deja vu all over again. Too many issues to look at. And next year the cupboard will be bare. Too bad, I wanted them to win it for Mata-Real.
