Be careful Steve you may have to follow Rocky and resign to get the team to the next level. Lobo fans are fickle and expect perfection. Rocky should still be the football coach.

Alford is a joke. What a bad loss. Get ready for another 1 and done in the NIT under this guy.

If this team does not learn to finish out games & play a full 40 minutes of ball it will not be a pretty season.

People, people, relax. The Lobos are young and this is Alford's only second year. He's bringing in good recruiting classes (on paper). Let these guys develop for a couple of years. These freshman aren't going to make the impact as some great freshman have in the past (Anthony, Rose, Mayo, etc.). UNM is not of that caliber, but give these guys time to mature and play together. I think the Lobos are doing well. They go on the Road and almost beat a tough Creighton team. A loss is a loss, but once these guys get some experience under their belt, they'll learn to close out games. Rocky had 10 years and did nothing. Give Alford 10 years, and I think the Lobos will be NCAA regulars.

Go back and look at this guy's record in Iowa. He will ruin this program before making them NCAA regulars. Why do you think Indiana did not want anything to do with this guy. He is a piss poor coach and his star recruits will leave before doing anything.

Just another typical year for Lobo Basketball fans. Maybe one day the university will get smart and bring Michael Cooper in to bring back the winning ways of Lobo teams from long ago.
