Hey David,

Comcast is no White Knight. Comcast is to Jacksonville what Bright House is to Orlando. The only game in town, and they won't show FSN. They have blamed it on the Magic, on FSN, and everyone but my dog. Point is - NO MAGIC!

Its about time someone at least thinks of challenging Brighthouse. This holdout is ridiculous on all parties accounts. Isnt the customer supposed to come first? And the public wants the games to be shown. Quit putting the financial dollar first and put your customers first Brighthouse. Soon you will have a mass exodus of customers as the Magic continue their winning ways.

Do some research. Comcast Orlando used to be Adelphia. That is the reason they carry FSN. I live in the Orlando area and have Comcast, We don't have FSN. My opinion is that we will not have FSN in Lake County until an agreement is made with Bright House. The argument between Comcast and FSN is the same as it is with Bright House. They don't want to put it on the basic tier and why should they? They already have Sunsports on the basic tier. They carry Comcast Sports SE on the digital tier. This whole thing is the Magic's fault for not understanding the industry before they made this decision.

Some here in The Villages have Comcast, some have Brighthouse, though we don't have a choice of which one we want. Neither recieve FSN. Had the same one-cable-company situation in Pennsylvania years ago until they allowed two other companies to come in. Made a big difference in programming and cost

Well, I have a friend who works at BrightHouse and he says that this situation is not going to be resolved any time soon. He even mentioned that they received a company-wide email stating that BrightHouse employees MUST call into radio shows and defend BrightHouse because according to them they "are being unfairly blamed in this situation". They even provided the telephone numbers for the radio shows!

How childish is this? Funny thing is that my friend says that none of his coworkers have said that they will actually do it because they have no idea what to say to actually support BrightHouse. They agree that BrightHouse is being greedy as well.

Something's got to give and the general consensus is that BrightHouse needs to step up and take charge and give its customers what they want.

Excellent article. The minute comcast comes here, is the minute I would change my cable provider. I live in an apartment complex, so it's hard for me to switch to satellite, thus i'm left spending my hard earned money on watching the game at any local sports bar (that actually has a satellite).

This whole thing is ridiculous.

don't get excited, i live in sarasota and i have comcast. I have only been able to watch sunshine broadcasted games. no FSN games, paid for NBA league Pass and can't get any of those games either showing the Magic. Thought I got lucky with the game on NBA TV the other night and it was blacked out due to contract issues. I think this is ridiculous

Comcast blacks out the games on FSN in St. Augustine. If they are going to show them to the folks in Orlando more power to you.

I switched to DirecTV back in the mid 1990's when the company then, Time Warner, decided that i was their pawn with Sunshine Network. DirecTV does not use their customers as pawns. They just provide a great service at a competitive price. I also can watch any NFL team I choose each week, another cable shortfall. So stick with your cable while we enjoy 85 HD channels and the Magic. Yea you are making the right choice.

I am sooooo sick of Brighthouse's "we've got 43 games" add that everytime it comes on I want to throw up. Has anyone else noticed that most of the games that BH does have are way past most folks bed time??
