Wow! Speraw is one of the most underrated coaches in America. This was the greatest win in UCF history! Going up against the greatest home court advantage while playing with 7 freshmen (6 of them true freshmen). Speraw said in the post game interview that the Lobos were so physical he had to rotate players every 3 to 4 minutes. And JT was being mugged every time he touched the ball (including his last minute dunk following his steal on the press -- they were determined that he wouldn't be allowed to beat them. Tony Davis was supposed to be out for 4-6 weeks, but rusty as he was he still brought the front court toughness and maturity to enable the win. The Lobos didn't roll over. The Knights had to scrap all the way. Alford and Speraw have that real strong Iowa connection that gave this another understory. Both coaches are class acts!
