Congrats to the Knights an another terrific performance at home. I had the pleasure of taking in two UCF games and one Magic game when I was in town a few weeks ago. And all I can say is I was blown away with the UCF games compared to the Magic game. Why aren't more fans in Orlando supporting this team? Every game should be a sellout. UCF basketball offers what I believe to be the best dollar-for-dollar entertainment value in town.

I agree, I have been a season ticket holder for UCF basketball for 3 seasons now and the entertain/sports value at a UCF basketball game is incomparable in Central Florida. Goooo Knights!

Kirk does a tremendous job with this program both on and off the court. Academics are a priority and kids stay out of trouble. USF has 2 players arrested over the weekend for drugs - something I'm glad has never happened under Kirk. He still gets terrific returns despite having a recruiting budget that ranks in the lower half of the conference. Imagine what he could do with a competitive budget in this conference. This team has 8 freshman and is 13-6 (woulda/coulda/shoulda be 15-4) when most fans were looking at this as a rebuilding year and were thinking 15-15 was a real possibility. Kirk deserves another coach of the year award from the conference for what he has done so far with the youth of this team.

I am shocked, a USF student (2 actually) arrested for drugs, has this ever happened before, oh that's right, they are known for that in their athletic department. Kirk has done a great job (again) this year. This team is exciting, fast and atheltic. I can remeber the days of A-Sun ball, it looked like the game was in slow motion, now these guys are running the floor and pressuring the other team. Just shows you what Coach can do with a little bit of talent. Can't wait for these guys to have another year under their belt, and to see our upcoming recruiting class(es) gel together. UCF Basketball is on the map. As far as the academic issues with the two players, hopefully this was not a recurring issue and happened only one time. It seems that our Coach's (all sports) have really bought into the Acadmeics First Philosophy here at UCF. I for one, am very pleased with that. Makes that degree hanging on my wall that much more impressive.

While I appreciate a win, let's not get too carried away with beating a team that is under .500. That said, I love the way Kirk coaches. He focuses on teamwork and fundamantals which makes UCF so much fun to watch, for a fraction of what an NBA game costs. Kind of like Coach K. You may not like Duke, but you have to respect what he has done with that program.

UCF 95-- did you say excellence on and off the field?
Please put your pipe down and tell me which excellence on the field are you referring to?
1) 0-11 Season (against some MAC schools that would lose to Apopka high on a good day)
2) 4-8 current season (after 5 years with program)
3)#119 ranked offense
4) 0-4 record against USF including 2 blow outs.
Before you call me a troll in regard to my USF reference, know that I hate this fact more than any other UCF fan, that is why I will NEVER consider O'Leary a good coach.

I dispute the title of this article. To do it, I'm going to quote Lou from the movie Major League:
"We won a game today. If we win one tomorrow, that's two in a row. If we win one after that, that's called a winning streak."
Don't act like back-to-back wins counts as a streak. It doesn't. They have three now. If they win another, at that point, we can start talking about extending winning streaks.

UCF 95 and GOL have some sort of relationship going on, whether or not it is sexual, I'm not sure yet. But regardless, to say that GOL sets a good example is a joke. The man is liar, and where I come from, being a liar does not deserve credit.

The difference between you and O'Leary, is that he made a mistake, owned up to and moved, while you a perverbally stuck in the past and can't get over stuff that happened way in the past. Such a sad life you lead. How about a back rub!

And a school that doesn't even exist? And how do you make a mistake and claim to have had a job that you didn't? So condoning this behavior is acceptable by UCF? It's OK to lie on your resume/bio? This is the example we set for our students? That makes me ashamed to be a UCF alumni, and it should make you ashamed as well.

It's a mistake if you own up to it, take responsibility, learn from it and move on. It's a lie if you continue to not own up to it, do not take responsibility for it, and continue to do it. Get over yourself and move on, everyone else has.

So he was a liar before he got caught, but now he's not since he got busted and admitted to it? Wow, what a stand up guy! We should be so lucky. That's the equivalent of someone being arrested for forgery and then admitting to the crime after they got busted. Doesn't make him any better in my eyes.

O'Leary never concealed anything. Admission and owning up to a mistake is honorable. I'm guessing you know nothing about honor. By the way, the last I checked being arrested for forgery is a crime, making a mistake on your resume is not. I really wish you get some kind of education on your own, I'm getting tired of Schooling your little ars.
