i agree for the community to get behind our great program we need the OS to get behind us.

bias coverage doesnt help us OS. Iliana u do great but the entire paper itself and the Otown media do not help our cause around here.

the atmosphere is better than any magic game ive ever been to and ive been to many magic games.

get on it Otown. UCF has a great team.

I'm very proud of the players. Coach Speraw is building a solid program at UCF. Orlando is missing a quality NCAA Basket Ball by not coming and supporting the home team. I will be there when they play southern Miss. Go Knights

Excellent effort by the Knights. The atmosphere was a million times better then even a Magic playoff game. I will definately be back. This is the first time I have seen this years team and I was pleasantly surprised. Well done boys. That point guard 'Rompza' has the potential to be great. He has a real shot of being a better point guard then O'Donnell. Jermaine is an amazing talent. He will likely be playing professionally in Europe next season. If he can play a bit more consistantly at his top level, he may even have a shot at the NBA.

My only complaint is the $5 charge for parking on campus is rediculus though. Don't nickle and dime your fans Mr. Tribble. You don't charge for parking during football season. Why on earth would you charge during basketball season? The last thing I want to deal with after making the commute from downtown to UCF is some rude parking attendant tellling me I have to pay $5 for parking in a half empty lot. Were it not for the amazing job Coach Sperew has done with this young squad, I would not be back.

I know Jermaine Taylor from high school. He is a polite young man and represents UCF well. I hope to see him in the NBA someday.

Great game. Great atmosphere. Great fans. Great students. The "community" that John Cal references is the ORLANDO SENTINEL.

Sad, how much is it to park at a tragic game?$10,$15, or $20? Five bucks is a bargain all the way. Besides, parking garages don't come cheap. It is far more efficient to park 10K rather than 40K autos. Plus, the school sells parking passes each semester. I don't get your logic.

Great game and atmosphere. Everyone played hard and Coach had the team ready to go.

A couple thoughts for others opinions;
I like Issac Sosa's game - but you could see within a minute that he was overmatched trying to bring the ball up the court on the press(which he hasn't done all year!) and he couldn't get a shot off due to the taller very athletic defender. I thought it funny that through the season thus far, Issac would make several 3's in a row and Coach would take him out - last night, one could see it was working with him in the game and you could see Issac was down as well and Coach kept him in for long streches. Heck he's a freshman playing with a broken nose and a bothersome facemask.

Second; overcoaching and constant in your face yelling from the bench - Coach served to distract the players several times and got them out of rythm to the point that on several occassions they had to throw up a stupid shot before the shot clock expired.

Third; Zondervan was playing inspired and doing great - why wasn't he in there with Davis and AJ Tyler more often in the second half? Man that dude was on fire and Coach kept putting out the flame by taking him out. Memphis was eating us up inside.

Fourth; Poor Jermaine ...double and tripled teamed at times in the second half. Commendable preformance. Callapari saw the weakness in the ability of the other UCF guards to get shots off. Where was Baez?

Nonetheless, great game to watch and I commend the players and coaches for their game. Go Knights.

Take it easy chest thumper. The person was just making a comment about the parking fees. He's not making fun of your beloved joke of a school.

you're exactly right Dump... the almost 10K in there last night didnt care for the game or UCF (and its insane atmosphere), they just happened to show up because there was nothing better to do on a Saturday night... Follow the smell down Fowler into Bull Country and there you'll find people who don't care.

BTW, the students wearing lax helmets up front behind the hoop = Epic

Great game, great atmoshphere. I hate to say it, but I'd have to put this loss on Coach Speraw's shoulders. The Knights had Memphis while playing an up tempo game to start the second half. Coach slowed it down and allowed Memphis back in it. How do you allow them to go from eight down to nine ahead before calling a time-out to get your young kids refocused? Proud of the effort though.

Face the facts folks. Mention UC-IF on the campuses of the big three Florida schools and people will laugh. It's a joke.

Take it easy there crazy. I don't know what parking for a Magic game cost. I live downtown and just take the 'Lymo' downtown bus service to the games. To you and anyone else who goes to a Magic game, using the 'Lymo' service is very convenient and quick. They drop you off right by the stadium free of charge.

So explain this to me 'UCFAlumni', does having a basketball game create any additional overhead to the university in regards to parking? Absolutely not. On any given night, there are three to four times as many cars there for night classes then a basketball game. Truth is UCF frankly overcharges their students with parking fees and will ticket you in a heartbeat if you park in the wrong section within five minutes. Being a UCF alum myself receiving my undergrad and grad degrees from the UCF School of Business, I speak from fact and experience. Considering the Knights are not averaging a high attendance figures, all I am doing is making the comment that charging $5 for parking seems unnecessary and downright tacky to me. It won't stop me from being at the next UCF home game, I just wish that we would stop being nickle and dimed at every corner by the UCF athletic department.

UCf Alumni is a classic UCf chest thumper that thinks UCF is just the greatest and ha no flaws. Yeah right.

As far as Magic games go, it costs $8 to park in the lot right next to the stadium. There are off-site parking lots close by that charge $5.
