And yet another choke by a UCF athletic team. And, to be consistant, the basketball loss to So.Miss was preceeded by the baseball team pathetically losing 11-3 to USF in a televised game. This overpaid, underperforming Athletic Department would be out on their axx in any other human endeavor where a score is kept and those in charge are accountable. But not at UCF!

It starts with fans what they tolerate. Any other fans base would outraged by the Athletic Department overall performance. But no, not us, we are happy we have O'Leary the Messiah of football, and We very happy that our Basketball team is in CUSA. And God forbid you question or criticize a coach. You become the enemy of the school.

Let us not worry about secondary things such as winning and losing and lets all be happy that we are in CUSA. By the end of March there are going to be two stories the Tourney winner and UCF is in CUSA, what a great accomplishment.

This isn't at all new for our athletic programs. How about when UCF lost their first bowl game after the kicker missed an extra point? Seriously, they seem fine with sub-par athletics.

"It's a privilege that coaches and the media think that I was the best player in the league and I'm happy, but if I could trade it for the win today, I would," Taylor said after the loss.

Amen, Jermaine.

Typical UCF style. No consistency whatsoever. When is this going to end?

UCF men's basketball just finished a mediocre season with the best player in the school's history on the roster. Imagine the team results next year when he's gone.

The women's program gets a new coach, and they win C-USA in her second year. Speraw's been at UCF for over a decade, and he gives us no hope whatsoever he has what it takes to get the men's program to the next level in C-USA. UCF no longer plays in the Atlantic Sun, so spare me his accomplishments in that high school conference.

Say what you want about O'Leary, but he's led UCF to two conference championship game appearances. Speraw doesn't have the confidence or skills to lure top notch talent to compete with the likes of Memphis, UAB and Tulsa.

It's time for a new direction for men's basketball at UCF.

Tribble doesn't care. Him and the rest of the junky athletic department is scamming everyone with all the money they're getting, while good workers are getting laid off around the country!

Hey crybabies! There were only two seniors on the team and no juniors. Rompza made the All Frosh team. These young players will be better defenders and scorers with a lot of help joining the team next year. Get a clue!

That's an ignorant statement.

I'm guessing the AD does in fact care about the success or failure of his athletic department.

Get a clue? LOL!

Barring some sort of monumental improvement for every returning player, UCF will struggle next year.

I love how people alway point to Oleary's two CUSA championship GAMES. The first one, he was a concensus favorite at home, and got blown out. He then lost the bowl game. The second he won, on the back of Kevin Smith, then lost the bowl game. You can't hide the fact that he's had 2 winning seasons, blown all but one significant game, and has a 40% winning record. For a million bucks a year and a job for his kid? Hardly worth the money, no matter where you're from.

As usual, all the chest thumpers are missing from this article. Earlier in the season I remember donkeys complaining that the Sentinel wasn't giving enough coverage to this GREAT team, blah blah blah.

UCF 95, UCF Grad - where are you now? You always have some kind of excuse as to why the team sucks. We are all anxious to hear what it is for this one.

For years UCF bullied and beat up on unknown, non-competitive, and smaller schools in the A-Sun who had 1/10 the amount of students and funding that UCF has. Now they're in the big, mean real world and life's proving to be tough out there. Poor UCF. Ha and they're fans cry and complain that they should be in the Big East like USF! Pathetic!
