Is it just me, or did anybody else see Turner playing for the pro scouts? C'mon Evan, stop being a prima donna, go back to doing what you do best, being humble. You do not have an outside shot, yet, so don't use it. Stop whining at ever call, or lack of call, by the refs. Evan may not have said he is leaving early for the pros, but he sure is starting to act like an "entitled pro". Love ya Evan, but like my dad says, "go home with what brung ya", and what brought you was a humble attitude and playing your game. Go Bucks!!!

This is what we needed. An off night by Turner to show Diebler, Lighty, and Buford that they can do it as well. Buford didn't put up insane points, but a couple of his moves made him look like he was flying through the air. Diebler needs to stay hot, as his quick release will give him 10 chances a game to drain the three. Again, Lighty played with heart and was physical not only driving but also hitting the boards. Lauderdale needs to keep his head straight, because if he keeps blocking shots like last night, nobody can stop us. Go Bucks!

I'm sure glad that john diebler felt better after being sick all week with the flu. The refs sucked though. They tried to give uc santa barb the game with the no calls. Lauderdale was awesome. Eventhough evan didn't score a lot, he did get 10 rebounds. Heck he was one point away from another double double.

The Buckeyes did not even look that good and still won by 17 points. The Buckeyes will need to bring their A game to the Georgia Tech game. I have money on the line for this game. The bucks must beat Georgia Tech and lose to Georgetown. Oops- guess that is not going to happen.

The 12 offensive rebounds was a bit of a joke. Nearly all of them were because the proceeding shot was so bad the rebound was no where near where you would expect a rebound to be. On several of them we had position, but the ball was either a whiff or bounced off the backboard without even hitting the rim. They were just throwing balls toward the rim. However, after watching Ga Tech, they do that a lot because they count on their big guys going after it for an offensive rebound. The bucks need to control the defensive glass to control GA Tech.

Strange to see a 7-3 come off the bench. Why didn't he start?

Good win with the rest of the team stepping up on an off night for ET. I'm thinking we might see some zone in an attempt to avoid foul trouble with the big men, although we never seem to rebound well when we play one.

TurnerWatch, I didn't see this game (they showed Maryland/Hosuton) but in the BTT it seemed that ET was pressing at times, turning the ball over while trying to make a highlight play. Was he doing similar things last night?

For the Dispatch: Please reflect a little before choosing a title for an article next time. "Adios, Gauchos"? Really? I realize the attempt was to put together Spanish words but the title comes across as flippant and condescending and I'm a Buckeye fan. There are enough lunkheads out on message boards reinforcing the attitude of other fans that all OSU fans are arrogant without the Columbus media adding to that.

At least our hometown paper got the opponent's nickname right. And they're were no misspellings. That's a significant improvement over what we too often see. Remember "Tressels"?

I would have sworn that Turner was the one with the flu. Fortunately Diebler and Lauderdale had great nights to cover for his prima donna whining. If he thinks he got bumped around last night wait until he gets to the NBA. Tells me that he needs at least one more year in college to thicken his skin and toughen up.

I don't see anything wrong with the title. Aren't you being too sensitive? What kind of title would you use? OSU beats UC Santa Barbara?

There was a lot of hand checking that wasn't called. The rules are there for a reason and the officials need to call them and not ignore them. In the end we won as a team. ET will still be player of the year. GO BUCKS!!!

Well, I'm certainly glad to see there's a designated sensitivity monitor who's on the ball. Perhaps a more appropriate title would have been: Ohio State Gringos Distressed and Apologetic About Victory.
