UTEP has another one we should win at UAB. It is the same as Rice last week, don't let it get away. Underdog or not this should be our game to get Bowl eligible. Every game from here on in will be tougher. If we play as well as last week we will come home with a win this Saturday night. We are sure glad to be getting UTEP'S games in Dallas. It should help recruiting and Mike Price and his staff are doing a good job of that in the Metro-plex. GO Miners !!

Again, not hating but UTEP has played no team with more than one win with the exception of Houston but they got a good beating that game. How can you measure success by winning to teams that are ranked as some of the worse in the nation.. Nothing to be proud about here, reality is, if UTEP played anyone with at least 2 or 3 wins, they would lose badly.

Why are so many Miners so surprised at being an underdog against UAB? UTEP got clobbered by U of H, and their wins against the 3rd and 4th worse teams in the country (UNM and NMSU, respectively) and a Division 2 team is hardy cause for boasting. Beat who they are supposed to lose to, and then, and only then, will the Miners earn the respect they deserve. Good luck, Miners!! Don't let success go to your heads and you will get far this season.

Remember, though, three games of our 6 were RIVALRY games, which means you throw out the record books.

Miners go for it! Just win! I will be watching from south TX and I dont give a crap about who you beat prior to this week. A few years ago, they would have kicked our a$$ anyway. So just let them play and leave the people who are enjoying this season alone. I wish I was in El Paso or closer so that when they played at home I would be there. Even if they got their A$$es handed to them. That is what being a fan is all about. Just keep supporting them and enjoy every minute. You people dont know how good you have it down there even with a subpar football team. GO MINERS!
