this would of never happened if we had a real coach instead if a rookie head coach!!! We have to pay for parking tailgating and top of that battle traffic! im never going to the games waste of time and money. i rather watch it on the mtn. if it is on but if not hear it on the radio. I'm not gonna pay 75 bucks for a game and they end up losing when I can pay 25 dollars and see it on tv.
Same old Lobos

Someone needs to findout what the heck is going on with UNM athletics.
Our past football coach "retires" with a hefty bonus and then shows up coaching at a major university.
Now we have a "offensive coordinator"
turned Head coach whose offense cant and hasnt even scored 1 touchdown in 2 games.
Whose paying for all this? We are the taxpayers. My money would be better spent on a scholarship to some student that wants an education that makes a difference. Not to some coach whose thinks he looks good on all the billboards.

Seems Rocky Long was right...

He took the program as far as it would go, it's downhill from here.

50 yards total offense in 2 games...pathetic.

This is what happens when you concentrate on recruiting the junk that plays in this state rather then recruiting in Texas, Florida, and California. Hopefully Locksley will realize that you cannot win with New Mexico kids like Rocky tried to do. There is no reason McPeek, Hernandez, Wilhelm, or Forrest should be in Lobo uniforms -that's what eastern, western, and highlands are for. New Mexico high school football is garbage. If the new coach continues to waste scholarships on New Mexico lack of talent then this program will never move forward.

Coach's second game.....I think we need to give him more time. Come on, people, did you really expect a 2-0 start?
I am looking forward to the basketball team taking the court.
Eventually, I think the team and coached will get the ball rolling in the right direction in a few years. I had no aspirations for a perfect season nor for a .500 season this year. However, just like the start of last season, it was a long time waiting for the basketball season to start and I'm not that big a basketball fan. It seems like if there is a winning season and the Lobos do finally win a bowl game, it was just a joyous bump in the road and when the bump is done, look forward to another disappointing couple of years. Karma, man, karma...

I agree with the sentiment about a rookie for a head coach however, name anyone with name recognition and experience who actually wants to come here.

Tell you what, hire me to coach. I'll just ask for 100k a year on a per-year basis, and when the team records show someone who cannot produce a winning season on a consistent basis, then you can truly say that you only get what you pay for.

You, of course, realize that only fans from TAMU refer to UT as t.u, right?
