So UTEP and Southern Miss are tied, but UTEP still has to travel there and WATCHOUT for those Conference U.S.A. bad officiating reffs.
Those same reffs that officiated the UAB UTEP game are still around. So make no doubt that UTEP will have to play at least one or two games where they will be playing against EIGHT PLAYERS ON THE COURT, instead of FIVE.

who cares about our conference we won it last year and we were ranked top 25 thats great and all but who really cares. Its all about making the tourny the real one then making a run. we kinda got unlucky with davidson last year. A sweet 16 run in the national spotlight would do wonders for us in recruiting ect.

East Carolina and UCF should also be interesting to see whether UCF has just had two tough losses or if there are deeper problems.

Good Story

Its an interesting question you pose, however I'm not quite sure if ECU is a reliable litmus test to provide us with an accurate answer. Unless that is, UCF loses. Then we would know there are deeper issues. A win for UCF over ECU at home doesn't reveal much in my opinion though.
I have a question for you, and I'm not being a wise a$$ when I ask, but has your perspective changed at all on who might be at the top/bottom half of the conference when all is said and done? There certainly have been a few surprises so far and I'm inclined to think that they may keep on coming.
